Stephen Foster is a famous American composer. As a Kentuckian I know him for the song “My Old Kentucky Home” sang at the Kentucky Derby every year. I lived a few blocks away from the Downs and you would hear thousands sing it. He also wrote Oh Susanna, Camptown Races and The Swanee River to name a few.
Great finds! I also wanted to just say thank you for guys for staying humble. I have been subscribed for a LONG time and watched the channel grow. Everytime I have left a comment there has been a response EVERY TIME! To me and other viewers that means more than y'all know. Thanks again!
I sure enjoy your water videos, well, I enjoy all of them, but the water is fun, and we get to hear more of your interactions with Muck and others. Congrats on the great finds!
OMG! What a great episode!!! I had a difficult time choosing my favorite. Muck str8 up killin it with 💍 rings! The 2 cent was freakin epic!!! Im not a relic guy for the most part but that kettle point is the best one Ive EVER seen! Clearly holed with a square nail. Im jealous for the first time in my life!!! Congratulations fellas!
Steven foster medal manufactured by Franklin mint 1975-1976 proof struck, there are 72 in the complete set not sure of the metal type couldn’t find any more info. Great hunt you found everything you stated you’d hope to find in the intro 😳 well done what a day🤩 thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
Even operating camera, thought you were going to get the lions share of good things, until Mark found that gold ring. Great hunt. You deserved a good one.😊
Holy crepe’ Guys!!!!! Outstanding day. Copper, silver, and gold oh my. 👍 Congrats on the 1775 reale. You were making me hungry with those steaks. You guys are living large out there. Thanks for sharing another great video. Doug in NC
Great finds guys! An epic day for sure and one of the most treasure-rich hunts I've seen over the past several years! I need to find me a gold wedding band so I don't have to buy one in 3 months, lol. I better get beeping. Keep up the good work, fellas!
Great hunt guys, congratulations on the silver and gold! I prefer the old stuff too, but sometimes those modern places can be fun! Looked like a great time, good luck on your next hunt 👍
Love your videos and enthusiasm!! Look forward to your videos every week. Now part of the entertainment in this video that had my nerd side howling was when you said the ring was Tungstun Carbonite. It is Tungstun Carbide. Carbonite is what Jaba the Hut had Hans Solo frozen in. 😂😂😂
Okay great video as always, you also had good luck in the finds department. Muck seems to always one up you, even with borrowed equipment. Can't wait to see the return to the party beach, I bet there is more to find. Thank you as always for sharing.
Great Hunt there Kurt and Muck. The Commerative Coin you found is awesome. The things we find makes this Hobby one of the best. Congrats on your Half Reale, 2 Cent Piece, and possible Kettle Point. Muck love the old fishing lure. Congrats on the 14k Gold Ring. Congrats on all your finds Silver Rings and Coppers. Take Care
That is a Great Day of Digging!!! Absolutely Positively Great Finds!!! Kurt Thank you so very much for sharing your hunt with us!!! I Love my Wednesday's with you!!! God Bless Us All!!!
I had a little wave ring just like that when I was younger!! So cool to see that! 😀 I grew up watching my Daddy metal detect. It was always so much fun! He passed in 2012. It just feels like home watching y’all hunt. Thanks for sharing, and best of Luck on the next one! 😀💛
Love seeing gold, Iv only found 2 gold rings so far. The first one was an early 1900's 10k signet ring with scrollwork (was later stolen from me at a restaurant lol).
Stephen Collins Foster (July 4, 1826 - January 13, 1864), known as "the father of American music", was an American composer known primarily for his parlour and minstrel music during the Romantic period. In 1851, Foster sent Christy a sentimental song, "Old Folks at Home," more commonly known as "Swanee River." By November 1854, the song had sold over 130,000 copies, making it one of Foster's most popular and successful compositions.
What an awesome hunt you and Mark had Kurt. The gold ring and the tungsten right, the silver ring Kurt found and the way cool Spanish reale and the 2 cent piece and the buttons and coppers, native american kettle point etc.

Remember Ike Clantons partner in modern Tombstone movie, "play some Stefeon freaking...." while Doc was on piano.
He went to school in Athens Pennsylvania. They have Stephen Foster days every year.
Wow, they didn’t know who Steven Foster is??!!
