I've been following this stuff for several years. Never saw NWS issue a High Risk outlook until yesterday. Prayers for all those affected!
I appreciate that the THV11 meteorologists didn't treat the public like they were dumb and actually used the right terms such as CC (correlation coefficient) and tornado debris signature. It lets people know that this is very serious and likely saved lives.
Glad that most places now mention these terms to show that this isn't a garden variety "maybe it's a tornado, who knows?" vs "yeah we know this is a violent tornado on the ground."
Thanks to all the thv11 crew!
Hi😊

All Stores Please lower the price of all Military and Local for all brands of Severe Weather Products and Accessories and Production Cost Now That's too much $$ The Whole World Now Pray
This was sad. Ef3 tornado on the ground killing people in Wynne, Ar and they never even zoomed in to show us anything, we are in their viewing area too. THV should be ashamed.
Wynne is not in the Little Rock TV market. Wynne is in the Memphis market and is covered by WREG channel 3. These mets did an outstanding job, especially considering how quickly everything was happening.
@@shanelee2363 The whole state is their viewing area though, I've watched them cover Jonesboro, West Memphis, even watched them track a tornadic storm to where it crossed the Mississippi river into Mississippi. Wynne was in an issued tornado emergency and they were showing a severe thunderstorm in Batesville. They would mention a large tornado on the ground in Cross county, but wouldn't show the radar for that area. It was nuts.
@@braddavis4395 the Memphis stations all covered the Wynne AR storm. Wynne is in the Memphis TV market.
Judging by the live chat, that vaunted Arkansas public school system is really doing wonders with the constant misspellings and poor grammar. Butchering even the most basic words...
Please fire this Nathan guy or delegate him to behing behind the scenes things. He is too dramatic for even a tornado alley station
Not sure what you are talking about, it's called being human.
Why? Like many of us, he was at work and didn’t know if he had a home. He didn’t know if friends were safe. I was in the exact situation! Give him a raise!
The tornado was a high end EF3 nearly an EF4 tornado going through a city with over 200,000 residents not to mention they have friends and family in the area as well I'd be doing the same. Delete your comment
