I connect both ball joints together. Stronger and no need to upgrade any further.

Hi . I see the conversion you have been through. Nice work. Im on the edge of starting my build. If i would make the same upgrades...is there a difference if i would buy a standard TT02 for a chassis or TT02D. Whats the difference on standard and drift version after your mods? Tt02 i can get with 89€. Tt02d costs 139€.

Very little difference, the main difference is the body that comes with it which affects the price if it’s a rare body. I would just get regular TT02.

@@monsrc3122 thanx for advice. If you have some free time...can you make a vid of all the mods you have done to yours.(or just a full list of upgrades needed to TT02) i will try to put all it together and see how mych it would cost.
I have also a sakura d5s 2.0 in mind...whitch way would you go?
Maybe its wizer for me to skip the TT02 part in my life and go straight with sakura? :)

@@parkflyer2191 I've been planning to do a video like that, just been busy lately with work. TT02 is not really a "drift" car at all out of the box you do need a number of mods to turn it into one. The Suspension Arm, Upright and Knuckles are really terrible compared to the Type-S or the normal Tamiya touring car suspension arms set, then you need to replace the dog bones and axle as well and it does get expensive unless you get the kit set from Eagle Racing which is a good deal for around $45
You can buy the Eagle Racing drift suspension set here www.broadtech.hk/eagleshop/shop/ShopProductDetail.aspx?id=TT02-14U2-PL
Sakura D5 is a RWD only car and if you have access to good indoor surface or track that's the way to go, they go really slow unless the surface and tire combination is good. But for asphalt AWD cars like TT02 is much better and easier.

@@monsrc3122 thanx a lot for that information. i was suspecting that in my mind that the rwd drift cars are ment to be used only inside. ill do some more reading about 4wd drifters. Keep up the good drift :D

If you turn the bridge 180 degrees and use the centre mounts or race setting, you will achieve even more Ackerman?

I think it will hit the front gear box.
