I couldn't tell exactly, but from the looks of that center column, it looks like they did a really good job reducing the negative space in the center. Nice!
Just got a T5. What are the uses of the flat plate, and the half bowl? This is my first pro tripod. Are there any in depth videos on using this tripod for heginners like me? I'm used to just setting height, aim, and leveling.
6.5 feet!? I can finally shoot standing headshots of Seth on a tripod! Brilliant! I think the option of having those pointed feet is great. But, genuinely curious, has anyone every used them? I usually just maneuver the legs so it's more stable. I guess I haven't been in a situation where it was needed.
Thanks for your response David. On a separate note, I have benefited from your videos. Your latest one on useing multiple flashes was incredibly clear. Hope you are able to rest up from the tour with Luke.
Looks a bit like a Sirui tripod, but nice, I anyway need a new one 😉 (and I didn't mean the ballhead, but the construction of the pods looked very familiar)
It seems familiar because it is a rebrand of the already existing Kingjoy C85 (with T40X ball head). It only differs in the central column instead of the tilting plate, a different carbon texture, and different twist locks. Apart from that, they are identical products, produced in the same factories in China. The smaller one, instead, is the C83S with the T30X ball head.

Nice looking Tripods, and the ball heads quick release lever is cool.
That's a good review. Quick, well organized and effective.

I have used spiked feet in the field
That sounds awesome! 👌
Great review. Seth is there a 1/4 20 receiver on the side to attach an arm ?
I just got one and YES, there is. Also a 3/8 on another side.
Thanks for your response David.
