Hi Vicki, you usually lose your hair with breast cancer chemo but not necessarily with chemotherapy drugs used to treat other cancers. It may become a little thinner in some cases I believe. Wishing your great niece a full recovery.

Agree. Something fake about it all. Also I didn't think the Royals went down the chemotherapy route; they use more natural therapies such as homeopathy and herbalism. I'm also doubting that she had cancer at all.
I think this video has been made with a view to it being inspirational and offering an optimistic outlook for anyone who has the misfortune to be diagnosed with cancer. It has been made to look like a very personal, intimate view of their family life and definitely aimed and putting to bed any speculation about William and Kate's relationship. You have to bear in mind though that someone was filming it with a view to making a professional video to be released to the public, so it was hardly surreptitious footage of real intimate moments - I think someone would have been directing at least parts of it, including them cuddling up. I don't doubt this scare has brought them closer, but how permanent or genuine it is, I don't know. I also agree that you don't always lose your hair with chemotherapy, but if she had lost her hair, we know that she will have had the best of the best wigs available. She is not a 'normal' mere mortal who has had to cope with cancer - not to belittle what she has gone through, but she will have had the very best of care and more than a degree of luxury that others can't necessarily have in the same situation.
