With all the money in dirt right now that is a crazy move. Going from being in the mix about anywhere he goes to running 15th and getting taken out with the Neckbumper cars.

They don't even have Salem or Winchester on I-Racing for some unknown reason. Those two tracks have more history than almost any track beside Indy. You had to be able to run a sprint car at those tracks, without getting killed, before USAC would allow you to run on the Indy track! I agree with ya Chip

He can't just 'do' a 20RT and 71 on a shirt. You have to get permission from the teams and every sponsor and then prolly give them their cut and then he would be left with... -$2.
I just hope Corey day does not get hurt with those ARCA cars cuz it's been a demolition derby every race they have had this year I'd rather see him stay on dirt oh yeah your shirts they Rock
I to hate to see dirt racers go NA$CAR, but Kyle Larson is proof that it does shed light on the dirt track races. At least we can see new talent on the way up. Money Talks Bulls**t walks Thank you for this show. I never miss it 😎👍🏻
Chase raudman mentioned yesterday in his preview video that this lernerville race isn't counting as a midweek money series. And day needs to keep his talent on dirt.
Me personally, the only reason I can understand a dirt racer wanting to go NASCAR racing is the money. But, as we all know cup driver pay has plummeted and top dirt racers are earning equal or more income than probably half the cup drivers recently. And someone like Day whose family is absolutely loaded, him making millions a year isn't going to change his life anyway. He probably wants to be famous, which I'll never understand that and it's not like NASCAR drivers are famous these days, they're virtually unnoticed outside of their world. Also, I don't understand why Corey Day wouldn't want to have some real accomplishments in sprint car racing before changing to stock cars. He really hasn't done anything yet outside of winning a few races. As far as dirt racers in NASCAR, I couldn't care less about it. If NASCAR was actually a collection of the top short track drivers from dirt and pavement racing then it would be meaningful, but at least 75% of the drivers are in cup simply because of the resources and connections behind their "racing career" rather than their own credibility.
No buddy hardly know anyone in dirt racing except Kyle Larson, stop thinking that that shit can come close to Nascar populararity, Nascar is the 3rd most popular sport below , moto gp and f1.
@@FIA-F1 And? Kyle Larson himself said the top dirt racers out earn the majority of cup drivers. There's probably less than 10 cup drivers making multi millions a year in recent years. None of the NASCAR teams are profitable, the owners told us so.
I think there are pros and cons for dirt racing either way. I would love to see him chase a championship in a 410 sprint, but if he goes to nascar and becomes successful he could bring more eyes, sponsors and possibly a Corey Day race team.
Drivers coming from dirt racing to NASCAR is a good thing if they promote it. Many dirt guys don’t make great money, and the way it sounds like things are going in NASCAR it sounds like a lot of those guys aren’t making money either. It’s risky either way, may as well go for it all. I hate not seeing him race, because I’m NOT a NASCAR fan. Great show
Shirts look super cool. If you do any big logos shirts in the future, could you put them on the back? Maybe a small dirtrackr logo on the left of the chest and the big on the back? Just a thought! Great design!
With Day leaving for stock cars, its simply underscores the fact that open wheel oval track racing seemingly has no "destination" series at its top. Indy car used to be , but, it has long since given up on its roots. Until we get some sort of modern front engine roadster that can be raced on super speedways, 1 to 2 mile ovals, dirt tracks and, road courses, we'll keep seeing the steady loss of talent to stock cars...
Can't blame the Kid for going for the big payday. We are just fortunate that he is with Hendrick and will presumably get the opportunity to race sprints. Bell is in a terrible situation with gibbs and Day running when he can is better than nothing. I know this dirt channel but I appreciate the call-out of Salem Speedway. This is a historic old track with really high lines and lots of thrills.

When you say you "have these guys up a level" to pavement, that is like saying dirt racers are second rate. Just because a series has more money available to pay the drivers and a better TV deal, doesn't mean it is "up a level" to me, and a little odd for someone to say that is making money off of a show called "Dirtrackr".
