This fight comes down to what deji will we see. If deji can be as defensively aware as the wassabi fight with the striking from the swarmz fight not many people can beat deji. But deji has been so inconsistent its hard to say 1 way or the other

Dejis head movement in the alex fight was beautiful
His overall movement was much cleaner in his last fights against Fousey and Swarmz.
Daley trains Deji like a real fighter. It's crazy to watch his progress skill wise. If Deji got serious and pushed as hard as his brother does in work ethic too, then he is a problem in that scene

Goin with Salt for the win. Haven't seen Deji go against and beat competition close to Salts level. Going the distance with Swarmz doesn't persuade me, I think Salts pressure would be too much.
Deji needs to fight either Slim or Salt next imo. While Nunes and Bryce Hall are draws they are small potatoes in skill. Deji's natural weight should be around 155-165 lbs so hoping he actually fights in his weight class!

How Deji does completely and utterly hinges on whether he can be bothered - Which IMO is a shame. If he went in there with a strong mindset from the get-go and if he maintained that mindset instead of being lazy with his training, then I think he would be one of the best -- If not the best in the influencer scene.
Deji's biggest flaw has and always will be his mentality.

What really separates the two is the level of opposition they've faced. Papi's faced high levels of competition and has been competitive with said competition; a 185lbs MMA fighter, a Belator fighter turned Boxer, and a dude who's 7-0 in the scene. Deji on the other hand quit against an 18yr old tik-tokker with 3 months experience, threw like 6 punches against Alex Wassabi across 10 minutes of fighting, and has only beaten a slow, stiff FouseyTube, and went the distance with Swarmz who got KOd by a novice in 30 seconds. Papi clears Deji imo.

I think dejis defense has to be higher as u said it urself that yt boxers are ranked against other yt boxers not pros and I don’t really think there are many other yt boxers with better defense than him. Maybe deen and gib but then again there both proven to be able to get dropped. I would personally give him a 7-8 cause he is one of the best in the scene and I think his faints to make the opponent to thrown the punch then he knows when to slip makes it higher. He is is also shown in the swarmz fight to throw 3-5 punches then get out as he knows that swarmz will then throw which is good iq and defensive awareness. His judging of distance is another thing that plays into defense and iq as he knows how to stay out of range but he close enough to explode and be able to get into range to land. I think deji iq as 4 is outrageous as well especially ranking against other yt boxers as he knows where to place his feet, how to judge range, faints, head movement, knowing when to pull out of an attack , knowing he’s done enough to win around and can rest for the rest is another thing many yt boxers don’t know how they think the pace has to be 100% all the time

Used salts level of comp and doing worse against the top comp than he did against the lighter comp but completely ignored that Deji not only has wins against bottom tier comp but also has a loss against low level comp (vinni) and a loss against mid comp Alex and still went rounds with fousey who is a human punching bag and swarms. Salts second best win is literally better than anyone win or lose deji has fought except maybe pre training jake and Wassabi and salts best win literally gets everyone deji has fought out of there in 1-2 rounds and salts losses are literally the influencer with best record in influencer boxing not counting jake and ksi and he was winning the fight before the stoppage and someone who most think it's unfair he even is in the scene that went to dec with both Tommy Fury and idris virgo. The level of comp is just completely incomparable.
Saying they are only 1 point difference in durability is absurd, shows the bias. Deji literally is openly known to be afraid to get hit and neaeky Everytime he gets hit reacts poorly. Even against fousey the couple times he got hit he didnt like it at all and it showed briefly. Has been stopped by tik toker with 6 months training. Meanwhile salt ate punches from Bruckner and at like it was nothing and ate dozens of clean shots, combos from what most to consider to be the best ko puncher in the scene outside ksi and jake.
