How to reset a detachable witter towbar

After 15 minutes struggling with the damn thing I appreciate the video (and comment telling you push in before twisting). I don’t appreciate the cheery music though, not in my current state!

What is not very clear on this video is that to charge you need to push DOWN on the knob and and then the knob 180 degrees to chlockwise.

Mine will not click into the charge position so cannot remove from car, any ideas?

0:50 mine just will not click and pop the pin out, just got it second hand off ebay. Seller is 100%. Maybe its me??

very worried mine is not safe. I can get it to positively locate but unable to make key fit and lock. So not happy its safe :-/
