Kukki is wrong about 120 guarantee Ela, if you get Ela before 120 pulls, the guarantee will disappear, there’s no another copy of Ela when you reach 120. Same for Ash banner.
The other thing that's important about GI/HSR vs AK banner systems is that in GI/HSR, duplicates are actually meaningful. In AK, excluding self-limiting clears where DP pots are actually necessary (and even still, vanguard Texas helps), not so much. There are some exceptions (e.g. Bagpipe P5, Mlynar P4, apparently a specific Ray pot is needed for max risk in CCB2?) but they are few and far between.

I can give you a fully whaled HSR acc and then 3* clear within 0 to 2 cycle every stage of PF, Apocalypse, MoC, etc., without breaking too much sweat. I can give you a fully whaled AK acc, and then tell you to do super high risk/points in CC/CCB. I really think most of the players will take a long time, if not unable to do it.
One thing that many people overlook in AK gacha is the amount of characters in the permanent pull, in Mihoyo games when you lose a 50/50 you're most likely goint to get a copy of a character that you already had, while in AK its very likely that you'll get a new character even if you lose the rate-up.
I think showcases for weaker operators are more important than stronger ones like everyone can figure out how to play Młynar, Ch'en and Surtr after 3/4 runs with them but how to use Windflit, Corroserrum, Eunectes or Nine-Colored Deer is more time consuming
Nine-coloured deer is actually quite easy as someone who's used 9CD before: S2 as a helidrop to take ranged physical aggro. I used her in my OG Pinch Out 600 clear for that exact purpose.

Me and my friends have all played a lot of different gatchas but all three of us agree that arknights definitly treats the player's money and pulls with a lot of respect. quality of life is lacking in some areas (please let me skip the dialog when drawing one duplicate unit, please...) but as far as pulls gose no matter what character you end up getting they can be used on most stages if you know what you're doing. And if you have a character you're desprate for but cant pull you can wait for them to get in the shop if they are non limited. the fact that I dont feel like I need to pull in order to progress the game makes me want to buy the monthly card to support this kind of model that rewards playtime and skill over whaleing (compared to hoyoverse games that ive played. arknights dose still reward money dont get me wrong)

Yeah same here, Reed Alter was a spook pull for me too. I didn't really use her that much but maxed her out later because of how strong she is. Then the new SSS came, and she really trivialized the mode including the poison fog one a few seasons ago. I haven't really seen use for her in RA except maybe currently the damage reduction crocodile boss, but I should start using her in certain raids in RA when they aren't just bulky high defense/res enemies
They've been gradually improving the banner system tbf. New limited banners (starting from CN's 5th Annivesary) 300 pulls will GET you the limited character. Hence, the worse case scenario now is 300 pulls and you'll complete the banner (and you get to spark older limited banner) , compared to previously 600 pulls (assuming you actually miss all the rate up). As for regular event banners,its aight. you'd get the rate up character about 150-200 pulls guaranteed. In Hoyo-verse case, 180 pulls is the HARD pity, which is about the same number of pulls we need for a regular event banner. and we all know the price PER pull in hoyoverse is way harder to accquire. (idk about ZZZ but at least in HSR it's better than genshin.)
ZZZ is just about the same, I believe, with 50/50 rate at 90 hard pity for both limited and standard character banners. You have better rates on the weapon banner though; 75/25 rate with 80 hard pity.
One of my favourite things about AK is that you can use basically any units you want and still be successful in clearing content. I also play hsr and endgame has been powercrept so hard to where you can't clear comfortably without the newer supports
As someone in the destiny 2 community, it’s kind of a dumpster fire right now. A lot of issues on bungie side and it’s entirely possible that whoever Arknights made a connection with in the company for the collab has since been laid off. Bungie has had a lot of layoffs. Unless they made a contract/legal agreement to do the collab, which I doubt since it hasn’t happened yet, they probably have to start negotiating a collab at square one all over again.
As a Chinese, I can firmly tell you D2 collab will never happen. Bungie did a “Taiwan thing” which’s Chinese mainland people simply cannot tolerate. This involves matters of principle and bottom line. In other words, D2 collab happens = HG dead

I can't find it other than bungie referencing it as taiwan instead of chinese tapei/china. i don't doubt they have, i know they are very vocal as a company to support countries like with russia/ukraine. i'm just curious, i appreciate the response.

However someone found the article and spread it widely, intensifying public opinion in CN community, even worse many D2 content creators were suffered by radical rhetoric. As a result, many people outside the D2 community became aware of this incident including AK players. Bungie did nothing but secretly edited the notice days later and has still not responded or apologized for the incident in any way even to this day.
I would say that AK banner is much more fun when pulling rather than HSR banner. Like in AK the rate to obtain the six star is 2% which is obviously much more higher than HSR which at 0.6%. Seriously it's almost impossible to obtain five star in single pull, plus is also hard to get five star before you hit 90 pulls. HSR is kinda like you prepare 180 pull, if you won the 50/50, that mean you have a discount, if not... Gudluk to clock up another 90 pulls. It's clishe, not to mention to pull on light cone tho🗿
the only super limiteds we have are collab units I think (because they are a collaberation agreement) but even units like chalter and shu will come back if you are patient, and you can borrow one from a friend in the mean time
Maybe the chance to get a banner operator increases by 5% every off banner . I feel like something similar to this would be a good middle ground between 50/50 and not having it.
I'm honestly more hyped about the 5-stars in this upcoming R6S banner. I'm not into trapmasters, so I don't care that much about Ela. But Iana and Fuze look like a ton of fun to use.
For anyone interested: Here are the numbers on the probability of going to pity when rolling for characters/weapons in various gacha games. Here are the figures: Genshin & HSR - 66.7% (75 pulls) Arknights - 36.4% (50 pulls) Reverse: 1999 - 40.4% (60 pulls) Wuthering Waves - 66.9% (50 pulls) / 61.8% (60 pulls) Couldn’t find conclusive evidence on when the soft pity starts for WuWa. These numbers show the probability of obtaining the highest rarity outcome (6* in AK) _before_ reaching soft pity. Also, this doesn’t consider the 50/50 drop rates for specific characters and such, just the probability of not obtaining any highest rarity character before the soft pity kicks in. All in all, AK is pretty generous with its odds considering other gachas. Because the gacha rates are so unfavourable in other games, rolling kinda feels more like a purchase rather than a gamble, at which point just let me buy the character.

Like Heavyrain (Possible 5 Star welfare Guardian) Laios is 5 Star Centurion or Instructor Guard (possible 6 Star Instructor) Marcille 5 Star Core, Splash Caster or Mystic Caster that can deal burn damage or became AOE when charged. (The one I hope Viviana Become.) 6 star is possible. Others predicts she will be like Incantation Medic Chilchuck is a 5 star Marksman or Deadeye Sniper (Possible Welfare) Others predicts he will be Trap Master Specialist.
Honestly I think they'd get alot of respect if they came out and said "Things didn't work out so D2 collab is no more" then radio silence on the matter
@9:27 Why we aren't seeing the collab as its not well known in EN is that its banned in China. That's why we aren't seeing it. That's also why we aren't getting a rerun with Luo Xiaohei. Reasons why?: Destiny is banned by china mostly due to something they did. Not certain but it seems like they pissed of the goverment. Xiaohei is due to fighting between 2 different groups and mostly due to the creator of the series starting the fights from what I understand.
I tried to get reed alter in the guarantee 5 or up pull, but failed. But in the same day I was able to get Swire alter in which I did want so I guess it was a trade.

I wanted Qiubai so much, but I got a Mylnar dupe... I pulled on this Joint ops, because I always would get the operator that I wanted like I got Pozy, Carnelian, Dorothy, GoldenGlow and even Mylnar back to back from joint ops, but this time Qiubai dodged like on her event banner T_T ( I spent like 120 pulls on her event banner and only got a dupe Penance ) I only spent like 20 ish pulls to hit 6* but it still shattered my dream of owning Qiubai

If you want to. It's your pulls after all, not anyone else's. That being said, since you want Walter, I'd recommend to set a hard amount of pulls you want to give and make sure you can recover exact amount or even more until Wisadel comes.

my only complain about the gacha is about the limited banner ones, after they left they become a super limited, the fomo is real

I've been saving for the Ela banner and I already have about 250 pulls saved, the next banner I intend on pulling after the Ela banner is the Walter banner... With that said, can i allow myself to give reed alter banner a few pulls?
If you want to. It's your pulls after all, not anyone else's. That being said, since you want Walter, I'd recommend to set a hard amount of pulls you want to give and make sure you can recover exact amount or even more until Wisadel comes.
Why choose when I got Reed in 20 pulls and I still have 340 pulls left

if I did 75 pulls already when R6S originally released(and did not get ash), would the 120 pulls reset or would it continue with 45 more pulls until guranteed ash?

Honestly I don't care about D2 collab. Every greedy live service game is a bad taste in my mouth so I kinda don't want them in AK. It's better they called off the collab.
Ela is an easy boring skip, reed alter is a more safe option to pull but have fun elacopers with that "better" dorothy lol
