Those little light are an EU thing, we call them "Side lights" we have an extra setting when turning the lights on. There mainly used for driving between day and night time, when its not quite dark
The little things that all add up to making a car yours....love seeing these it's interesting seeing how different lights come apart and what all's involved

headlights look good. just a tip, if you wet sand first with 3 different grits then buff with the plastx then it will come out a billion times better! try it out
Those headlights turned out gorgeous, and going to redo my old headlights for my car and reseal them in the same way you did (they were leaking so I replaced them). Loving Vlogmas, the videos are a bit shorter but it’s cool keeping up day to day and seeing content that may not normally have happened, keep killing it 👏🏼
I blacked our my headlights on my 06 legacy after watching your first video. I was able to take that orange reflector out all together. Idk if you thought of that or if it was an even an option to remove from the piece. A little late now but just a heads up for next time lol

If the headlights are still a bit hazy, try giving them a wet sand with I think a 2000 grit then hit it with the plastx. Should get them to look a bit better.
not sure if you did it or not but sand the headlights with 1000 then 2000 grit sandpaper then buff with plast-x and they come up crystal clear. great vid none the less :D
I used the Plast-X stuff on my own headlights and that crap works amazingly well, the drill attachment isn't really necessary if you have time to do it by hand
You better get HiD Low Beams, they still outperform LEDs in projector housings and are what rally cars actually Use. That small bulb in the highbeam housing is just a "parklight" its a 'T10' bulb if you want to replace it with leds....
Personally, I just enjoy watching you work on the cars... installing things, painting things, anything that involves doing work and upgrading one of the cars catches my interest.

when you strip the inside and change the dash and center console to full carbon fiber (big guess), i reckon it would be sick to change the key start to a push start next to the hand brake (favourite youtube right now as well)
Robbie! I swear by mothers mag and aluminum polish with a little foam pad on a drill. 2 mins per headlight and back to new! And you don't need a lot at all!
Hey Robbie quick suggestion (you may know this already) but if you buy the Impreza new lights, make sure they're not too blue, as those will reflect too much and will let you see less while rallying
To get the best results for headlight restoration u need to wet sand it before u buff it. Check the meguiars headlight restoration kit. It looks brand new
If you want your headlights to look like new, just sand them first with 800 grid, then move to 1000 and last 1500 or 2000, and then you just clearcoat it and it will look like new, did it on my Civic and dads Focus when he had it

The small lights are called parking light, it’s in case of emergency when you get stuck on the road and it’s dark outside, it will give a slight light so they can notice you and they’re usually on when you’re regular beam is on, while your driving with other words
I have that little light burnt out on the right side also lol. When you have the E-Brake up and not have your lights completely on they turn on. Found that out accidentally lol.

When it comes to having less views? Well me as a person that watches all your videos without even having a car licence, Never worked / modden on cars at all. I feel like i used to learn more or at least have an easier time following what it is you're doing to the car at all times in the video. Maybe just me and my inexperience but worth noting i guess? I watch every minute of every video anyway

We use plastx and the rub it with those blue shop towels, it seems to work better than the pad

Just a tip for cleaning your lenses, do a wet sand with 600 grit sand paper before you buff, makes it 10x better
