Bro, you put in Work on these Wheels!! I hope you got Blessed Nicely!!
cuz definitely has never put daytons on before, the other video was extremely difficult to watch.when installing daytons that are not color coded adapters "red right and white left" the rule is the knock offs/hex heads/wings always tighten to the front! that means it screws on tight as the car goes forward.after you drive the vehicle you need to beat the hex head after a few miles cuz there is chances that it will loosen up! cloth over the hex head, key on the hex head, foot on the key, then beat the key with the lead hammer.
I would have hit him with the dayton hammer or told him to climb under the car and drop the jack.
Agreed. They also won’t know that you ABSOLUTELY need to put grease on the center adapter! Daytons are a pain in the ass and the smallest details matter. The way these were mounted, I wouldn’t be surprised if one comes off while driving OR they don’t come off because they welded together due to no grease.
You're 100% wrong. The knock off always tightens towards the rear of the car
I can't speak on Zenith but Daytons tightened up to the rear. I have had em in 20 years but I might be tripping too
@@stevofla239 yes my fault i will edit my reply, however my point made further in my reply is the easiest way is to turn the wheel forward as the knock off tightens.
Put some anti-seize lubricant on those threads and they will come off smooth and back on 💯 💯 💯
Grease is required on tha Dz. Without grease they will be a bitchh to take off. Good job though 🔥 i know how that gold plate can get thick too, use a wire wheel on the inside of the spinner
I would have beat his ass with the dayton hammer or asked him to climb under the car so i could drop the jack . O.G status
Welp this car won. Great job Craig u part of a legacy
Glad you are still striving to build your empire bro keep it going man that 73 clean as hell
i think you got the adapters mixed up..with wire wheels the adapters they are usually color coded white and red (white =left Red=Right ) with those adapters being chrome i can see how you got them mixed up
i would definitely reorder some new adapters and knockoffs
keep grindin and the content coming bro
Always good tuning in, keep doing you 👌 Salute🤚Hard to beat blk&gld
There’s a lot to unpack here… I would highly recommend researching how to install daytons and then re-installing these because the car is not safe in its current state. As much power as that car makes, I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the wheels come off while he’s driving it.
Keep up the good work brother much respect to what you are building with your brand. Keep up the good work 💯💯🙌🏽💯
I would have beat his ass with the dayton hammer or asked him to climb under the car so i could drop the jack . O.G status
You gotta it looking good Playa... 💯👌🏿
Dayton rims look good but dangerous good for coming off while driving frfr
Them tiers so flat look like he riding on the rim 💯🔥🔥
Keep the grind 💪 going
Nothing like Dayton's, the method to the mallet!!
I would have beat his ass with the dayton hammer or asked him to climb under the car so i could drop the jack . O.G status
Hey just wanted to know What size vogue tires are those on the gold daytons they look clean!
Big problems if not greased. Will be cutting the hex caps off. ....you could edit this video and send it to dayton because those hex shouldnt be that hard to thread on. I had it happen once and it was some new chrome adapters and some casted NOS 3 ways from the 90s and the threads didnt match up.
Bro yo ass almost gave me an Anxiety attack installing them mfs 😂
I bet you was sore a hell when you woke up
Gold Ds are the nicest wheels but man they are a bitch to deal with. Good Work Bro
I would have beat his ass with the dayton hammer or asked him to climb under the car so i could drop the jack . O.G status
good ole boys
I wouldve used a breaker bar to torque while the car was in the air
Song in the intro
Man I'm a mechanic up here in CONNECTICUT and believe me I know how it be,,,But banging and cross threading thinking that ur making it easier to go on by doing so ain't the right way to do it
It’s not cross threaded I took it off and it was perfect and easier to go back on when these are dropped they bend a little bit easy after putting them on and take them off it’s fine
I would have beat his ass with the dayton hammer or asked him to climb under the car so i could drop the jack . O.G status
