great job in this review, it is great to see details like the turning geometry and the grind clareance. Amazing skateboarding as usual, keep it up.
Fantastic review Shane! Really loved all the camera angles of the board and the truck, the explanation of the turning radius and even the use of the stick to showcase the concave. Watching the video it is pretty clear that you enjoyed the GRASP surfskate. Cheers!
Fantastic review Shane!! I received my Graps trucks today and I couldn't be happier!! They feel amazing and I could almost do an infinity loop without ever practicing that!!! The turning radius of the truck is amazing. I have them on a 15" WB board right now as I am only 5'2"!
great idea comparing the turning angle of the trucks! very helpful, thank you
Your best review so far in term of edit and content ! Thx so much !
Thank you Shane! This is very interesting. This is exactly what i wanted to see.
Hope they will launch with a 32.5" model with shorter Wheelbase
Yes I just want to say that
32.5 would be nice
Amazing review Shane. This is exactly the popsicle skaters at my local when I give them a crack on my boards hahaha!
hey shane, great channel.
riding the filipe toledo pro model and loving it.
i have some questions for you and id be glad if youd answer them.
whats your all time favorite surfskate until now?
whats the surfskate for you, that brings the closest feeling to surfing (if you surf lol)?
and lastly:
i have the carver prometheus with cx and the smoothstar filipe toledo pro, which additional board would you recommend to
buy?
greets from germany, keep it up
Amazing video and very comprehensive review! Thank You Shane!!
I noticed you’re not using any risers on the deck - is that to keep the board as low as possible or the lean is enough even without risers?
Looks like a solid option. I am looking at all options right now. Currently using a waterborne adapter but I want to get a tries surf skate that also allows for slappy grinds.
Donde puedo comprar los ejes ? Gracias
I liked your review, were can I get one in the US . I have a yow puka and waterborne adapter on an older board . There is no parks near me so I built a bowl to have fun in
So a harder turning cx? Gonna go check these out now
Yeah but, how much lean at the same amount of turn as the CX?
hola nice video ! you have a idea of the price of this board ?
It looks awesome!
Hi, great review, you should also try our 34" model, you will love it ;)
Shane, great review! Are the trucks a matched pair? Do both turn or is the back just lean?
Yeah they come together.
Like most surfskate truck system, the front turns more and the back leans more than turns
Amazing truck ! it's best.
simple and performal
Hey Shane, just a little question, where do I buy it? I’ve looking around and I’ve only found it on eBay, do they have an official website or something? Thanks for everything by the way, and great review!
I believe they are only selling through eBay. They are still a new company.
Might be worth chatting with them through their Instagram under the same name
Ok Shane, thanks for the support! And also take advantage to thank you everything you’ve done for the Surfskate community!
Hi shane ! Great video! I have a question. Do you think I could install yow meraky trucks in a carver Taylor Knox board? THANKS
For sure! You can tweak a surfskate however you like
Hello! Do the trucks weight more or less than the carver cs trucks? Thanks
Great! Where... is possible to buy this deck? Thx!
This is the best review format you have ever done! Great job!
Thanks !
Looks like I should own one :) What other truck system is nearest to this one comparing stability\pumpability or general feeling of riding? (besides cx, I like CX, but want more freedom in motion)
Content quality is 10 out of 10 BTW :)
Thanks :)
The Sixty Six truck is pretty similar. It has a bigger turn and lean than the CX. It makes it more flowy than snappy.
Beats Yow in terms of snappy qualities?
good reviews 👍 😁where i can get this?
Get in touch with them on Instagram.

🙏🏻👍🏻
Brand of the trucks? Many thanks!
Is this board the best when it comes to speed from pure pumping? If not, then do you know which brand is?
Speed generated from pumping depends on so many factors: wheelbase, system rebound, wheels, bushings and even technique, so it's hard to say.
Hey Shane, does the Grasp generate good forward momentum or is it more slow/flowy? I didn't see any clips of you going too fast while pumping. Thanks.
Yes it does generate good forward momentum. It is also flowy-er than CX
@@shanelai2515 Thanks for that. I've been finding your videos very helpful btw. Thanks for all your content! Btw, (if it's not overstepping) what are your scars from?
@@jacobkoder4903 they are keloid scars, passed down through genes.
@@shanelai2515 gotcha. I got alopecia a few years ago and it constantly cycles. Always a little curios about how we're made.
Hi, how does it feel compared with hamboards & swelltech? Thanks
Stable and flowy. A feeling closer to the meraki.
In your opinion, for a smaller deck (27-29") which truck is better suited for surf training? CX or Grasp?
I want link to buy Grasp surfskate
hey shane, can you get these trucks in AUS or just order online?
Only through eBay I think
@@shanelai2515 thanks Shane. I’ll take a look
Just got a pair :) can’t wait to try
amazing review!!! looks like a skate I would like to have
Get it

Where...?
Hi! Whitch surfskate you think is the best for cruising?
Yow Meraki S5 or Slide surfskate (cheaper than the Yow). I've had my Slide Diamond for a good 6months now and yow meraki s5 trucks installed on a Soulboardiy deck. Both amazing! Replace the front wheels by orangatang, fat free 65mm blue wheels. These are thinner/slimmer than your standard surfskate wheels, so you can go faster! Have fun;)
Can you send me one to California? I’ll even pay for shipping
hey any fellow Shane is a friend of mine !
Amazing.. The deck is beautiful
Yeah I love the natural wood pattern
Looks like a great board where can we purchase?
Stop teasing us and tell us how to get one!
They don't have an english website yet.
Gotta get in touch with them through Instagram @grasp__surfskate
I've talked to them, they will sell it on Amazon... Don't know when though
@@rinky_dinky thanks 🙏
lots more lean than the CX but will this company be in business in 5 or 10 years. All these new companies are wanting some of the Asian market because people in the U.S. are not flooding to ride pump style skate boards. Let's please get rid of the name Surf Skate because it's a joke and inaccurate. Pump Skating is what it is and the market is way over flooded with brands now looking to cash in on the Asian sensation. It's still luke warm in the U.S. and I don't know if it will really ever get very big here. the name Surf Skating does no service and makes it seem very pigeon holed. Pump Skating is the name I have coined and it's a better term than the gimmicky Surfskate name. Those Grasp trucks seem pretty nice but is it another here today and gone tomorrow just trying to cash in company ? Would like to be able to just get the trucks for about $75 or less and not have to buy a complete. All that lean looks great
Pump skating isn’t specific enough imo. You can pump nearly any skateboard but some of these truck systems are much more unique than tkp/rkp trucks. As for longevity, maybe not in 5-10 years but at least for a bushing based truck like this, most of the consumable parts can be replaced with aftermarket. Doubt we will see a quality $75 truck set, that is encroaching the pricing of Chinese clones.
