Great cars, had mine for since 2017, I paid the same price as yourself £650, mine is in similar condition, buying so cheap I had saved enough to have the full N series kit professionally fitted, Multi layer Payen head gasket high tensile head bolts and the heavy duty oil rail, its been great, doesn't use a drop of water or oil, I did change the under floor pipes to. great fun and reliable.
Hi, I have seen a lot of your videos that have been very helpful to service my mg tf (LHD, I'm French) that I bought few weeks ago. I see there is some kind of gasket that protects the edge of your HardTop, is it an official part ? I'm looking for such gasket for my car, thanks in advance and thanks again for your videos 😊
Hi Nicolas, Many thanks for your question and glad my videos have been helping you. The gasket that protects the bottom edge of the hard top is an official part. Please have a look at Rimmer Bros web site, and search for the MGTF hardtop section, it has an exploded diagram of the components that make up the hardtop. I think the part you are looking for is number 25 the rear lower edge moulding,
Hope that helps , it looks like that part is no longer available, so it may be difficult to find but good luck with your search and hope you enjoy your newly acquired MG. Regards Steve
