trying to figure out how long to boil for my elevation. one guide said 10 minutes for non sterilized jars and 5 minutes for sterilized plus 1 minute for every 1,000 feet above sea level...so 25 minutes seems long. I guess it doesn't hurt. Wonder what is your recipe for syrup made with honey? Does the honey change the color of the fruit? Thanks great video!
4:06 “Man, that looks nice!” She really is passionate about her Apricots! Bravo, madam. Bravo! 👏👏👏
Thanks! I feel that other videos leave a lot of info out. I’ve never canned before but picked a bunch of apricots and want to try!
Loving it! Clear and concise and to the point! I have apricots and roma tomatoes that I want to water bath in the same bath at same time. Is this ok?
Very helpful for a beginner. Swimming in apricots this year! How many lbs for 5 or 6 jars?
+Amy Barker, 2-2 1/2 pounds per quart. Thanks for watching!
Looks good I will try it! Maybe i'll make a video about it!!!!
What if you don't hear a pop but you can see that the lids are sinking in? I just canned today for the first time.

Just break those pits and eat the seed inside. They are so nutritious and so tasty. Can even extract oil from them, it's healthier.
What do I do if I forgot to get the bubbles out? They are floating.
Is the lemon juice free of sulfites?
Don't you skin the fruit? Thanks.
