Kids today need to be shown this video. They truly don't understand how to cross the street safely. Either they are not taught at all or are taught incorrectly.
year 2021: just walk across the street without looking- don't worry; you can always sue the driver for a lifetime of earnings if you get run over. and when a car does stop- take your time crossing. If you get a text, feel free to read it in the middle of the road- they'll just have to wait.
Now in our pampered society we have cross walks placed everywhere. And have to slam on our brakes whenever somebody steps into traffic. It's because of the idiots looking at their phones and not paying attention to where they are going.
In a time when being a pedestrian was taught to show courtesy to motorists, have common sense, and be cautious as well. Today, that pedestrian is entitled, whiney and takes too many unnecessary risks by jaywalking.
@@Leo9ine I fail to see how. And to tell you the truth, I don't care. You're entirely free to think whatever comes to your mind. My message is directed to those people who still have common sense and don't risk themselves in an idiotic way. Have a good night.
@@dave_riots Because of that entlitled and naive mentality of people like you, those accidents happen and happen a lot more than you think. In my town, precisely this very morning, a woman got both of her legs amputated when she was run over and dragged by a heavy truck traveling at the legal limit of 60 kph (less than 40 miles). All because she decided to jaywalk in a high speed road (rated for 80 kph or 50 miles), instead of using the pedestrian bridge, which was less than 50 meters far away. So far, you have been extremely lucky and you will give a damn about it, but in my books, a single jaywalker that gets run over is one too many. Now, that woman and the driver involved have ruined their lives.
I love the sentence "Drivers sometimes can't help to run into YOU if YOU are on the street at the wrong time"
It’s always interesting to peer into another era

61 Dodge !
Wow... that art style
Old video are the best !
I think crossing at corners is more dangerous than in the middle of the block
I have a 61 Buick sedan list like that .In is super rare 401 Nail head. And a rare "Flattop "
And of course very few people know it's called a "nail head," because the vales are comparatively small.
it looks like 60's or 70's style.
I think it's probably the late '50s or very early '60s... very familiar to me some of the clothes and the cars

I’m here because my Uber driver recommended a great video to watch on UA-cam 😆

The irony that you sound so whiny and entitled right now.

@@raulsaavedraviolante4350 I rarely see any jaywalkers, so I agree with Leo. You are pretty whiny.
