  • Stroke Survivor Story: Recovering with Optimism (1 Year Later)
This video is for anyone who has been affected by stroke. In this inspiring video, Anthony Williams shares his story of overcoming a stroke at the young age of 35. He details the warning signs he initially ignored, the impact of the stroke on his mobility, and his journey towards recovery.
    Early Warning Signs Ignored
Anthony describes experiencing weakness on his left side while cleaning the grill. He mistakenly attributed this to the heat and dehydration, not realizing these were stroke symptoms.
    Stroke Diagnosis and Treatment
Unfortunately, by the time Anthony went to the hospital, the window for clot-busting medication had passed. Despite this setback, he remained optimistic about his recovery.
Recovery Journey with Flint Rehab Products
Anthony credits Flint Rehab products, including FitMi and MiGo, with playing a significant role in his recovery. He emphasizes the importance of diligence and dedication to exercise in regaining mobility.
    A Message of Hope
Anthony's story is a testament to the power of optimism and persistence in overcoming stroke. This video offers encouragement to anyone facing a similar challenge.

My Dad had stroke in April 2022, and until now I’m not sure if he will recover because he has depression 😭😭 I am his first born and I have 5 siblings so he is depressed because he knows that no one to take care of them 😭. Sometimes I feel like I’m strong enough to fight this battle and other days I feel exhausted. Seeing him suffer breaks my heart 💔 thinking about my siblings breaks me more knowing that I can not afford to take care of them 🙆🏼‍♀️😭No one deserves this kind of pain and helplessness 😭😭 please pray for my family

I am praying for you and the family. I myself suffered a stroke 3 months ago. I was anxious and depressed. But knowing there are people who actually cares and is praying for you helps a lot. It is hard now but keep in mind that better days are coming.Always talk to your father and encourage him that although it may seem hopeless but recovery is very possible. I hope both of you can find something to hold on to, something that will keep you hopeful for the best things that are yet to come ❤.

I immediately went to the ER and they did some assessment and tests. The Dr indicated I had TIA. It's been 4 days since I fell and to date my arm and leg (both right) still feels weak. Luckily I didnt loose my mobility neither, I can walk and still do most of my usual activities though i can tell hand is not 100% - thank God

As far as how fast to recover. It does depend on how quickly they get the clot out. For example my moms little sister 40s had a stroke in March two weeks later she was back to normal. From the time she had the stroke to the procedure to remove the clot 4 hours max maybe less. Now my mom had a stroke and heart attack back in May the heart attack came first then the stroke a few days in the hospital. It took them 14 HOURS from the time she had the stroke to the procedure because she had to get transferred to another hospital 🤦🏾‍♀️. And she still is not speaking clearly, can’t read, her right arm is not fully functional, and yes she did therapy for speech and her arm. All we can do is pray the lord heals her completely. She was a school teacher one of the best, and it pains her not being able to go in and teach every day 😢
