I am a decade+ out from needing this stuff (my youngest is 12), but it’s cool to see the advancements in baby transporting made in that time!
But you gotta do full-on baby gear for a full test: diaper bags, portable bassinet, accoutrements (clothing changes, changing pad, breast pump, baby food [in cooler], toys, bottles, etc…). Plus do on the road in-car diaper changes, from simple diaper swap to full-on, bio haz-mat blow out, with complete wardrobe change and seat cleaning! A road trip with baby is never just the stroller. (Oh yeah and how about Mom and Dad’s gear, too?) Our car of choice back then with two babies was the Toyota Sienna minivan - minivan for the win!
Great fun watching these videos. Brings back a lot of memories!

I have a Passat GTE Estate, the reason I bought the car is that is has one of the largest boots in the hybrid market. I have a Emmaljunga stoller and lie flat seat in the back tied down on top of each other and I can still fit my 2 dogs in the back, Or I can take the wheels off and but the stroller behind the seat and have the more space in the boot. There needs to be more EV Wagons/Variant/Estates, they are smaller outside but just as big inside if not bigger

I love it! You may need to add air to the tires though. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCaFvSVryLTkivIF4hk3BmXD6n1GX8i8F It was easy to assemble. I am 5’8 and the height of the handle is perfect for me. Great amount of storage underneath. Can’t beat the price and quality on tu is one. I bought it because I Liv in Florida. There is sand, grass and rocks all over. It was important for us to have wheels that is all terrain.

The ID.6 is great for these tasks. It's a more spacious version of the ID.4. We own one. It's superb.

Great test for parents! Could you also do it for other cars? I did it before ordering an ID.3. And to my surprice all baby stuff fitted in the booth :-)

Hey. About the kick sensor just do one straight forward kick in the middle(like you would kick a football)step back and count to 3... don't wave your leg under multiple times it confuses it. Try next time works every time!

Great review mate, all of these are so relevant at this stage of my life 😂 it's the only reason why I've got a model y on order, I need the space for a +1 arriving soon and to lug around the other half's 4 wheeled walker due to mobility issues

I have a Clek Foonf, and it fits really well in my ID4 in the back seat, which is a convertible seat.

Wow - time changes....now we are back to compare cars how good and practical they are for your daily life, the fact that it's an EV doesn't matter anymore. Like in the old times, comparing "normal" cars against others. We never were interested about range and how long it would take to fill up a gas tank - irrelevant.
That means EV´s arrived in every day "normal" life. Which is a good thing, not exotic anymore. Thanks Björn!!!

Nice video. I still see no sensible reason to take this over the Enyaq, though.

The ID.3 actually also has isofix in the front.

Does it have heated backseats? Suppose you do not need that while you have kids in the baby seats but once they grow out of those and sit in the backseat it is a really good feature. Then when you have older kids with drivers license you often find yourself in the backseat, and then it becomes a mandatory feature, at least for us that live here up north :)

Great review, Bjørn. How would you compare the backseat of id5 vs model y? Width? Is there more space in the middle seat in one of them?

Here is a very simple video on how to use the kick sensor. Basically, you just have to put your leg forward and the backward again, no left/right swing needed. This is actually the way it works on most of the cars that I know. So no Capoeira motion needed in most of the cars :D

Too bad for you guys. In Europe it's allowed. I have seen isofix in front seat in VW and Volvo. Maybe also Polestar but I don't remember.

Yes, Polestar 2 also got isofix in the front passenger seat.

The trunk is way to small in my opinion. With that stroller there is no room for other things like suitcase or grocerys

Husk at airbaggen kan løse ut og treffe babystolen. Isåfall må den kobles ut. Kanskje best i baksetet

Comparing price vs range and space and tech features and safety, I'd rather have a Tesla.
