I forgot a few people in the competition during the color playback, so here's everyone and their ranks! 1. Arglin 2. Malizma 3. Blinky 4. Nevs 5. Interstellar 5. TheMatsValk 5. Xavier Lundberg 8. Conqu3red 8. gavinroo538 8. Kaboosha 8. Sheldon 8. Tofu (People with the same numbers got the same amount of votes.) Sorry to anyone who I miss your names in the video.
This really should have at least 10 times the views. One of the best line rider syncs out there and matched perfectly to such an amazing song. People who do these really should get more recognition as they put so many hours into such masterpieces and often get so little out.
Also, 2:32 this is a bunch of references, right? The only ones that I recognize by name are I Got You and If We Have Each Other, but they all seem familiar.
Correct. This is the order: The American Anthem, Lambada, Maplestory Theme, If We Have Each Other, Hello Hurricane, I Got You, Shelter (the original), and When Birds Fly.
I was looking at your other channel, realized that it wasn't your main and saw that this is just as incredible as what you do in other games- and also I have no idea how this game works so I don't know how impressed I should be haha
Thank you!! :) I guess I'll do a rough breakdown. For the most part the track was done completely by hand over the course of about a month or so. Short tracks I can just usually wing it and it looks reasonably structured, but for much larger, longer tracks, I tend to do some heavy planning prior to even sitting down and placing a single line. The major sections I'll cover: - Maintaining a high speed isn't too difficult, as well, once Bosh goes fast, he wants to stay going fast. However, being able to build a lot of speed / slowing him down in an unobtrusive way was difficult to pull off well. - All the curves you see are hand done approximations upwards of a hundred or two hundred lines. - The section at 2:32 was a callback to my old tracks; I copied snippets and pasted them into the track file. As Line Rider has a proper physics engine, I couldn't just copy paste them in and expect them to work, rather I had to meticulously recreate the movements, utilizing additional lines hidden within the scaffolding lines, and using ten-point teleportation (which I don't think I need to explain much for you to figure out that it's a pretty complex glitch exploit, haha). - The ending lyrics were copy pasted on every frame to generate the effect of them appearing still on screen. Other than that and the section at 2:32, the rest of the scenery work (lyrics in the slower sections, the vibrating / dancing lines and explosions, et cetera) was done by hand.
Amazing :O The music visualisation throughout was insane and that 10pc teleportation stuff caught me off-guard, I'd definitely be interested to see where else that technique gets taken in the future!
I really like this track, though there are some criticisms I have. I like the bounces with the drums, but they are too fast in my opinion, hard to conceive them. There's a similar issue with the first round of lyrics, they are hard to follow. I love the second round of lyrics though, they are clear, readable and really satisfying! I just don't like the use of TPCs here. Maybe you had some intentions in mind, but I feel like they are just: Ohh I'm running out of space, let's teleport here and then there. Overall a great track, obviously it could always use a little more environment, but I think it was a huge project even without that! :D Keep it up!
I failed to actually explain the usage of 10pcs in this track in the color playback so I think it's now a good time I explain my intentions. What you saw were actually snippets of tracks I made in the past, flashed through in a montage-like style using teleportations and such. It's hard to tell unless you're been a long time member but the progression of tracks goes from newer tracks (Lambada and The American Anthem) to much older tracks (When Birds Fly and Shelter). It had no really obvious progression though and was purely an experiment. I'm hoping to see the idea utilized more, but of course in a fashion that wasn't as awkward as my attempt. :P
@@Arglin Well that's a nice idea, maybe you should flash it out. I want to think I've seem most of your work, but I'm just a casual viewer and for me it's hard to recognize certain tracks. I'd say Ragdoll from Conandrumer or Super Flu by Rabid Squirrel or some parts of your Bohemian Rhapsody are easily recognizable, but other than that... I don't think I'd ever realize that it's a different track. And by the way, why put other tracks in the middle of Demons? I don't understand the artistic choice :(
I was running out of time for the competition so randomly I had the idea of "oh hey, what if I tried this?" It kinda looked interesting so I just took the idea and ran with it. If I had more time though I probably would've picked something better to represent that section.
2:00 I feel you should have sustained the flings and manuals longer. Also, the second chorus could have been better with the big block thingies filled in or textured. I liked the last part. Very interesting concept. Also, smh flatsled.

This is literally how every single lyric video should be honestly done! Thank you! For the uncountable hours im sure you put into this!

1:42 WOAH
It's insane how I still can be amazed, even when I've seen every single video on this channel
This deserves more likes and views
This reminds me of when you are on the road, and you see the powerlines bouncing up and down with their shadows
