Considering that a couple of them talked about features they used to get made fun of for--like red hair and freckles, or thick eyebrows--are now in style, maybe they only look good to us without makeup because of those features. And when the fashions change, people will think they're average again.

I was a male model for a while and imhp, EVERYONE of them looks better without makeup and most women look better without makeup. I want to date a human being, not a barbie doll. wrinkles, under-eye shadows, "imperfect" body, big nose (every guy likes big noses...just ask), weird eyebrows = HOOOOTTT. and OOOHHHH GOD the freckles on the redhead one... also, there are so many things that girls think are attractive but are not to guys (very visible cheekbones, tiny fake nose, massive porn star lips...).guys are a lot more open than girls when it comes to looks. curvy,skinny,very feminine-innocent face(big baby eyes, soft jawline, small chin...), a more masculine face(squarer jaw, narrower eyes, larger brow-ridge...), blond, brunette... BTW you look really gorgeous...:)

She made me think of a young Irish girl riding around a castle on a horse surrounded by all the beautiful velvet green carpet laid out on the rolling hills. Her beauty is something magical. Each one of these models could tell a fantasy story of another world. Just blessed with good genes I guess.

The makeup they did on the red head made her eyes look very far apart. She has wideset eyes, but the makeup seemed a detriment.
ETA: For some reason everyone thinks I'm criticizing the model. I am not. I think she's lovely looking and her wideset eyes are very pretty.
What I was criticizing was the makeup- Makeup can be used to enhance features and make them appear in different ways- I think the makeup here did a disservice to the model.
I feel like the makeup made her eyes look too far apart - pushing her pretty feature out in a way that is not as becoming, unbalancing her features that, before the makeup, look more balanced and pretty. On a girl with close set eyes that makeup would be AMAZING. But on a girl with already wideset eyes it just didn't seem the right choice.

It really puts things into perspective. Like, knowing that girls who are "bigger" aren't the only ones who get made fun of. It's skinny girls too. It's like when you see a girl who is bigger than most, she has to lose weight. If a girl who is skinnier than most, she has to gain weight. I'm honestly glad that I saw this video.

I love this. personally as a model myself, I get skinny shamed a lot. and whenever I'm down on myself people go, "you can't be insecure you're a model, it basically proves you're gorgeous!" but like she said, society doesn't make tall flat skinny girls traditionally gorgeous. it's curvy. and it's so hard to be in an industry where everyone thinks you're anorexic and fake. but that's not true.

I'm certain that the mean things come from their own insecurities. This is usually true for people who bully, but even more true when the personal being bullied is beautiful.
yeah I guess but it wasn't always like that curvy wemen we're always consider fat or big.just recently the big booty and boobs have become ideal features . think about how black people feel they had those features for millenniums but as soon a Caucasian or European start to have features like that it's becomes a big and popular desire. a lot of people don't realise t but most white Americans stole styles and ideas from black people.
+Madison Rothschild I can totally understand girls feeling less confident with a smaller chest and hips, but 'societies attraction towards ''curvy'' women are still skinny women. thick women do not get praised the same way for their shape unless they have a flat stomach and hourglass figure (and even then it iffy). I got made fun of so bad in middle school and elementary for having thick eyebrows and long eyelashes...and for just being generally kinda hairy lol. They used to call me Mr. Snuffleupaguas....fast forward to 2015 and girls are drawing on their eyebrows and getting telepath extensions to replicate what came naturally to me. Everything comes full circle, especially trends. Everyone is beautiful and unique. Be encouraged. 💜

Sorry Phil, I have to explain your joke for people who don't have the background info.Our brain can infer depth in 3D because the left eye and the right eye see slightly different images. Therefore, the further your eyes are apart from each other, the easier it is for you to perceive depth.

+Canal de farticles Mine is exactly the opposite. My eyebrows are soo thin. But nobody used to notice it so neither did I. But now with this whole "eyebrows on fleek" thing, people do, and I got laughed at for it all the time. Society is really something, their never satisfied with anything, so I just do what makes me happy. XD

I love this video! im 5'9 and 103 lbs, growing up and even today i am constantly ridiculed for being so skinny, people think telling me to eat more is a term of endearment. i have fast metabolism and a heart problem that prevents me from gaining much weight, like one of the models mentioned, even wearing a bathing suit can be tough for me. i have learned to love my body despite the comments i get. I do catch myself slipping, longing for bigger boobs and a butt, the confidence to wear form fitting clothes. but that quote "comparison is a thief of joy", i will carry that with me and use it for as long as i live. every BODY is beautiful, just cause the girl next door has the body i want, doesnt mean someone else doesnt want my body. and it certainly doesnt mean she is prettier than me. everyone is beautiful and i think this video did a great job showing that.
