This set up and facility is manufacturer/ f1 team plant level. Very impressive.

I can't believe this place. You were blown away. Just think what the general public saw of this place and got their hair blown back. One of the most interesting videos that i've seen from you and it wasn't on the track. Truly jealous of all your success. And you earned it. UA-cam aint easy.
Only an engineer knows how to serve Cars and their Engines and the enthusiasm customer who owns the race Cars : Architecture had nothing to do with the construction of this building it is from engineers for engineer’s

The regulation here in the US probly would not allow a storage facility with a 100 percent N2 atmosphere.
Until retiring I was a cryogenic engineer responsible for N2 and O2 production government regulation is nuts .
The infrastructure of this building is incredibly robust. These systems are some of the best I’ve ever seen.
Just curious, what kind of regulation is that. Is it OSHA regulation, or are there specific laws about low oxygen storage environments?

This video is on another level. It’s 2 very modest yet incredibly knowledgeable guys walking around an engineering and architectural masterpiece.
Mr. JWW aces the game. What a combo of intellect, passion and resources for this place.
I do industrial HVAC with centrifugal chillers and I’ve seen a lot of amazing stuff. I can tell you now the setup and install of the system for the dyno and HVAC is top notch and world class. I love cars but being an HVAC guy I love it as much if not more. That was a treat to see. That’s an amazing company. That has to be a one of a kind facility. 😊
Hi Mark, do you know if having the cars in a nitrogen store could also reduce the rate of rust on ferrous metal parts?
i would assume so. oxygen reacts with iron in the metal with moisture to form rust. no oxygen = no rust i would think. absolute insanity@@philtucker1224
well of course, rust is oxidation which means it needs oxygen and water. If there is no oxygen or a low content (idk if their room is a mix or pure nitrogen) and they regulate the humidity of the air, there will be no rust @@philtucker1224
@@philtucker1224 rust comes from oxidation. No oxygen from air or moisture = no rust. There probably is still a small amount, but I imagine it is greatly reduced compared to even a normal controlled environment.

Hats off to James for another brilliant interview. You can see he’s like a kid in a candy store but never one to get distracted. He is so professional that he can do a great interview and really draw out such a great story from the SSR team and really allows the person being interviewed to be the main feature (unlike many UA-camrs). Consummate pro and makes all of his content really engaging.
Thinking about what I just seen on video makes me really jealous. James the two of you and what you both have put on camera for us all WOW. Mind blowing really.

Dear Timo, small correction if no one have done it so far. The Mercedes 600 you showed has hydraulic activated windows and even the boot and not air as you mentioned. With around 100 bar pressure. And absolutely your shop is amazing 🤩

29:55 the W100 has a seperate hydraulic system for the doors, windows, seats, etc. Air is only used for suspension.

What a truly incredible facility. The thought behind the site planning, building planning, and room planning of this facility is completely next level. Perhaps SSR should open up a new division for designing and constructing like-facilities for other industries!
