Got these thinking they were the slightly larger Panfish floats ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx_rJB7cli5f1ofPVGgn80S7Yj4vqwq0gU they work just fine. The smaller size lets me carry more in my tackle box, and the 3 color choices are nice for different lighting conditions, backgrounds, etc. They aren't the most durable things in the world. But, as cheap as they are, it's not heartbreaking to lose one or have to replace a worn one. The price on these fluctuates wildly, from about $9 to almost $16. So, time your buy accordingly.
As always, brilliant! What l love most about your channel is the way you take us through all the seasons and their bounty. Thanks Smash, for yet another first rate video.
That's a pretty good haul, your Garfish look like Long Tom we catch in northern Australia. l'm way down south, our Garfish don't have teeth, just waiting to get my boat from mechanics and l'll give the Gars a go, usually in summer, it's autumn now but it won't stop me. Love the vid and tight lines brother 🎣 🐟 🇦🇺 🏴
I am used to fish those without any chum and we just hope that they pass. How necessary is the chum for garfish and if I dont have fish oil, can I just use bread mixed with some shrimps or fish guts?
It's the first time I've watch one of your videos, but all I have found is yet another cruel UA-camr who leaves fish to die a slow death instead of dispatching them quickly!

Nice mid drive ebike and cool trailer too, you're an educated consumer
"Oily Chumbucket" - sounds like a Cornish trawler skipper 😂😂
Great session there smash.
mad as a box frogs bro your videos always bring a smile to my face 🤣
Yea Boy , love float fishing!
Great longnose session matey brings back memories of the good old days as kids slaying the gars great fun 👍🎣🎣
Always amazes me how much sealife is around your area what a great haul.😁🤦♂️👍
great video bud i catch them around St Ives Cornwall even in the dead of winter on size 14 Sabiki Rig...
What reels are you using bud?
nice to see you catch the garfish with a float.
I use a makreel paternoster, so I can get 4 or 5 each cast.
Do those fish have blue bones? They look a lot like Aha (needlefish) here down in Hawaii.
Good to eat

You should try smoking them very nice use 6,5 % saltwater for 12 -24 h in the cooler and then smoke them hot 😊
Can’t believe somebody had to fish beside you !
These gar look tiny compared to the ones we have in the States. The Alligator gar is by far the largest of the species, and is a true river monster.
these are Bellone bellone - they reach at max to about 1m length
Try to grill on charcoal it's tast good
Where’s this place
Here in Sweden we got like times 10 of that size 😂😂
Great catch would love to see how you prepare them
❤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Lots of live fish in that bucket. Thought you said you dispatched them?
He does but he doesn’t do it on video because he would get banned
Out of all the spots to fish, you have to have, someone stand right next to you.
When you going to stop killing
Strange looking fish.
Hello!!!Great fishing!!!And I am engaged in a relatively new type of fishing, fishing with a slingshot.I will be glad to see you on my channel!!!
I am a big fan of you ❤❤❤❤❤🦐🦞🦀🐡🐠🪼🐟🐬🐳🐋🦈🦭
👍🇨🇦
Im sure the gar fish was really tasty, on my region they way too small to eat 😂
Needlfish,not gar.
Needlefish is a family of ten species. This species (Belone belone) is called garfish in the UK.

I’m disappointed to see you just leaving the fish to die in the bucket. Why not just dispatch them?
He does he just can’t do it on camera other wise he would get banned
