Hey guys, just wanted to mention that Pokit did not pay us to write this review. These are our honest thoughts and opinions of this product. We also forgot to mention that there is a developer API for this product, so you can make your own apps. We didn't get a chance to take a look at that in the video, but it seems pretty cool from what we've heard.

Hi Hacker House. Paul from Pokit here. Thanks for the positive review. We were a little nervous, as the unit we sent you was an early prototype which was rushed to you pre-campaign. We hadn't finished resistance calibration at that time and it has a few quirks. Now that we are successfully funded, we have scope to keep improving and refining Pokit. We have big plans for little Pokit to add lots of cool new features. Since launch we have included a spectrum analyzer mode. We are also working on data compression to make data updates faster. Again, thanks for your impartial review and constructive suggestions. Pokit is intended for maker community and it means a great deal to us to have your support!

Hey Paul can you give me a link to support your project? The one on the description says it may contain malicious software and won't open properly on chrome.

Great video like always. Keep up the good work. Could we also maybe get a quick video as an update to automatic bartender? If you guys are stuck ask the community. We are here for you guys just like you're here for us.

I think that fluctuation could be the fingers touching the tips because when you test the sinewave it was more stable because you use aligator clips.

Ok, i really appreciate the time you guys took in checking this meter out, BUT, you have to realize that the components in it are so small that they will be extremely sensitive to any all external stimulus. So when you take measurements, DON'T TOUCH THE LEADS. I could be wrong, but i don't think i am. And after you connect the leads keep all body parts, and external stimuli away from the micro-meter.

Just thought I'd point out that you seemed to be touching both probes when measuring resistance, obviously if you were touching the conductors the meter would also measure the resistance across your body also.
