Why is there a gap in the ceiling corner on the drywall
@@marlonmaatrijk1571 crown molding
That's what you call Done Right.
Can I get the links for the tools they use?
I've done finishing for twenty years but I use a pan and knife. All the people talking bad about these guys don't know what they are talking about. They did beautiful work!
But if u give the charrola and knife them guys don't be used
Where are the screws?
I just can't figure out why they're leaving the upper angles alone. Even if the room gets crown, we at least put a tape coat on for fire and bug purposes. This could be Aussie specific. They definitely work as a team!
I’m a finisher and I have to say it’s really clean job, nice job guys
Im 30 years old, ive been in the trade for over 35 years.
I can say that you are 80% godlike and made no mistakes at all, because i mastered the art of coating.
You can tell because my channel does not have a single video about coating or any form of construction.
Anyway i will never answer to this comment anymore, because i dont need to prove anything to you haters.
Lol, 30 years old been in the game for 35 years.
@@Maxkil nice lie u idiot you are 30 but doing this job for 35 years what kind of drugs are u using men lol
If only the client could see, an honest, neat effort, put towards, they would be so impressed. A credit to you wonderful craftsmen.. lovely work..👏👏
Bottom line, Great job guys. Very neat work. I certainly was impressed. It's a shame that you can't post a video without people leaving unnecessary negative comments but I really hope you guys see right through the ridiculous comments. Thank you for taking the time to post this video.
Thanks mate, glad you liked it. You can't please everyone.
The negative comments are few n far between lol lots of praise. And well deserved praise. Amazing work.
THE MORE I WATCH YOU GUYS VIDEOS, THE MORE I LEARN. JUST FOR THE SAKE OF KNOWLEDGE ☺ IT IS VERY INTERESTING! OH AND YOUR ACCENT IS A PLUS!! 😍
Talk about teamwork. Everyone played thier role. Reminds me of a school presentation where everyone came through with thier assignment. Even the 1 guy that never does their part in group work at school (in this case Mr camera man) even tried his best but you can tell he will be that guy that never does his work.
In my local there are over 400 finishers active at any time. And almost everyone of them is the best lol. If it works go with it. Nice job guys. Clean amd fast.
Lol bunch of fkn queenies
Fast? Bro wiped that first but joint like 20 times lol
@@ModernGentleman I’m sure you’re the best as well. Probably faster and whatever.
@@Eddie_Ray definition not. But I dont wipe anywhere near that much. Its way too much time in the same spot. That's just my opinion, but im just a dumb drywall finisher with a mere 17 years of experience.
@@ModernGentleman I’m very proud of you
Wow, I have down a little drywall and I usually pick up things quickly, but this guy is next level.
The thing people fail to realize when watching “fast” tradesmen online is that it’s not sustainable and often sloppy. This fella here can do this all day. He’s neat, he’s clean, and most importantly he takes his time and does the job well and efficiently. Somebody I’d hire. I tip my hat. Cheers

I was a solid plasterer but do a bit of Dry wall as well now and again-super quick guys-great to watch!
Good 👍

Man, you are a professional. I do a lot of this at the schools. Nice and flat, no need for sanding. Good work.
Leroy Chavez.
Great to watch. I can certainly appreciate the art of what you do.
I would hire you guys in a second. I’m in the business 30 years and I have seen it all. I have seen so many messy jobs.
I've watched other Videos by these guys. I was so impressed how they all work in a team. they do Great work . I hate they make it look so easy. VERY clean, I must say.
Yeah they are the best I've seen. Thanks for watching
I’m getting ready to do my skim coat today, just wanted to watch yur video again. First time muddier ( its looking pretty awesome). I could watch u all day and listen to u talklol
Sounds good
Your boy is good @ feathering that second coat ! I wanna work in the outback
Nice work, looks great.
great vidz dude, keep em coming enjoy your Christmas and new year🍻
thanks andrew. Hope you have a nice christmas too
Really clean and professional, nice job
Been on jobs where the finish work was damn near perfect and been on jobs where it looked like they used a garden rake to mud with. Great to see the flats feathered out.
This one is my favorite with the flusher Can-am.
I want to buy the same now. Pff it's boring so much tools...
Neat and Clean. Very professional and quality job. I love you guys.
I good carpenter/hanger makes a good finisher and a good finisher makes a excellent painter since they’re the last ones to touch the walls.
Man, you guys are really good professionals. I do this at the schools that I work for. I sometimes have problems with a little bump in the center of the butt joints.
Очень залипательный процесс. Всегда приятно смотреть , кто делает все профессионально.
Nice job. I personally use trowel for every thing but that seems to work well also what ever works. Have a great new year
Verry nice Technik and verry nice Tools ! Good Job !
He's quick and neat good looking bro
Oh, no way, he’s doing it wrong. Suppose to fall down occasionally on the stilts, the mud should fall off the ceiling and collect on the floor and his clothing, he has not cussed and don’t look fatigued at all. And worst of all, who ever has to come behind him and sand it down is being treated way to good and may have problems finding another job.
I know right, it's all in the video editing.. I even had to spray them with the hose to make it look like they were sweating.
Yeah,! People think that a worker that never get dirty is not a professional right!...
👍
Looks good .. Very clean and nice work
Different than in Europe... but I like. Fast and precise... practical experience
He is great on the trowel with a odd way to hold it. I'm just not a fan of pizza flipper trowels though.
I’m a flooring installer, so naturally it’s in my DNA to hate drywallers...........but you guys kept it pretty darn clean! Good work fellas
9000 RPM apparently you don’t know me........ I AM that special
Amazing. They make it look easy. Good Job guys..
I tried a flusher years ago for my angles. I wasn’t a fan. They round the corners too much. We use a hockey box with a three inch wing on second coat. They don’t work well together.
That how I put it on too. Relaxing. So is sand day lol.
its a nice trick to tape only seams in one direction and after it dries the ones crossing to avoid taping intersections cool.
Nice job guys. Keep the videos coming. Love yur work! Don’t listen to the haters
Thanks Jenny. Love thy hater.
Maxkil 😈
Buen trabajo.gracias.x compartir..
Muy buen trabajo. Super profesionales ¡
Can someone tell me why there are gaps at the edge of the ceiling to external wall. Thx
Hey the first pass that you do, I know your using hot mud but is that to get rid of the fisheyes before you apply the finish coat ?
As a DIY person, you guys are very pro and make my work look very bad 😂
I thought Australians had to swipe counter clockwise lol just kidding fine job guys true professionals. I'm no production drywall guy but I've hung and finished plenty so I can appreciate the speed and skills.
But sometimes the towel is backwards... Haha... Thanks
Very nice clean work! Im a finisher myself how it should be done.
Why is there a gap in the ceiling corner on the drywall
You make it look so easy I look like a hack when I do it good job guys!
Also I noticed that you use the adhesive before you hang, some ar as in the states do that but is it code? Or just trying to get rid of nail pops. I also noticed that your framing is 24” on center, 1/2” max framing is 16”. Is that why you use the glued blocks between the trusses on the joints?
Sorry for all the questions, I’m a 35yr drywall guy but we can always learn!!
Great job !!! Fantastic work!! I know you don’t do much sanding but what is your procedure?
Fully impressed. Efficiency at 100*. We use pans and knives. Man ide like to learn your style.
I've watched a few of these videos and these guys are true pros - well done. Clean, efficient, and quality. One question thought - why the big gap where the wall board meets the ceiling board? Is there crown molding being installed in the entire house? Is this for expansion/contraction of the house?
I have the same question about the big gaps.
It will be covered with cornice (usually 55mm) so no need to make a tight join. The fixing team generally sheet from bottom up in this case because it makes their job easier when screwing the board.
Great job guys from a finisher for 32 years
Why is there a gap in the ceiling corner on the drywall
what's that yellow that you are using?
Extremely fast and neat
You guys have it sorted. If you dont mind me asking what rates are you getting in Ozzy?
Very good job. Excuse me what angle head size are you using ?
i'm from brazil, congratulations. I'm a fan of your work...
Those corners went quick wish i had those tools. But im good with cheap ones as i am only gona do this once every few years. Wish me luck on this level 5 wall.
I'm Brazilian, what tool do you carry the glue? And how many centimeters and spatula? top finish
Very good Job guys !!!!
May god bless alls !!!!
God is dead Siervo.
Good job guys!
What kind finishing mud is that. Name of the brand
Great technique!
Artists at work.
Pure professional at their best
NO PROFESSIONAL NO. GOOD WORK
Woow you guy are very very fast ! My respect
I wish I had helpers a quarter as good as these guys
Pay them more🤣
What tipe of glase its the one u use they look thin and clean to apli whit the finish
Nice coordination as always, tumb up!
cool - and after sanding or not? And how to sanding this guys, the same fast? Thanks
I've seen this method in NY and Toronto. Seems to be down under too? Every region has a way of getting it done.
makes me want to gut my house and have these guys come finish the inside.
i'm work this is talk with me in whatsapp +212651689398
so I was led to believe that most guys used a trowel OR a knife (with hawk or pan, respectively). but this guy is doing what I ended up doing when I tried skim coating a ceiling today. He's using a trowel AND a knife. Maybe in about 10 years I'll be able to do it as deftly as he does.
Great workmanship!!! What width finishing blade are you using?
Is there a reason for not mudding the inside corners between the ceiling and wall? Are they putting crown molding in?
Neat work!
Yo..what were they doin in corners with those polls? Guy applied n guy smoothed it out? Clean work man.Why is spackle brown like that?
Those must be 24' sheets on the ceilings. I like it.
they are 18ft, but are only 10mm and very light. Cuts down in the finishing, barely any butt joints on a standard job. Thanks for tuning in!
Nice and uniform... i would do the sanding behind you guys anyday..
Nice..
Wondering why the walls have gap at top? Is trim going all around top of the whole unit?
What size of drywall you guys use I dont see any butt joint I see only seems which is awesome
Nice and smooth
Master taping
The drag created by the dried compound causes the pin holing. The first coat of mud acts as a kind of lubricating film to eliminate the drag from occurring.
Just wondering what kind of mud do you guys use love your videos great craftsmanship!!
I'm learning. True 👍
Cleanest straightest lines I've ever seen!
Interesting use trowel and knife for finish
Waoo un trabajo profesional
great video!
Hi, after coating joints on ceiling. Do you then sand and prime+paint? Or have to skim coat the entire ceiling before paint?
Look it over with a light (pointed sideways at wall or ceiling) to determine whether or not it's good enough for you, sometimes 2 coats is good enough, if you want it perfect 3 coats then touch it up, hope this helps you 😁
For the people that don't get it the trowel is angled to be deeper in the middle and he he feathering the edges with the flat blade which flexes..Great job guys.
Here in Brazil it's impossible to make straight lines like the ones you guys are able to do. I don't know if it's due to the high moisture, the components of the joint compound, or whatelse. I have seen very experienced professionals and gave them the challenge to do so. No one was able. How much water in the compound to get a so thin mud? Congratulations and thanks for sharing.
Im curious why you stack the walls leaving the gap on top instead of pushing walls up leaving the gap on bottom where it eventually gets covered with baseboards?
I guess crown molding will be installed.
Yes, crown molding
Very nice work
What size glazier head ar u using do u guys do a 2 coat system on ur internals
Hi liking your vids just wondering do you have videos for beginners like first coat to finishing coat on how that will be done thanks if any links subbed to you
Yeah look at my old videos for hand tools
@@Maxkil thanks man
I enjoyed evey minute of this video amazing job. I am just curious why there is gap left between the ceiling and the wall? Thanks.
Robots robot there in Australia and they always put trim there so they aren’t too concerned about that gap. Cornice trim I think it’s called. If u watch other videos and they do the same thing now u will know why then read the comments. So many haters will talk crap about the gaps when they don’t have a clue. Some things are done different than the USA
@@dickjames5007 thank you for the info and it is different than here in Canada as well
Ese trabajo lo aaciamos tambien in idaho same cleand and fast in performance company. Good times
