When this came out everyone was going crazy!!! They became much more popular than they were. Every kpop group and entertainer were doing the choreography to this dance it became iconic. And yes there are some sexual references in the video. The girls are gorgeous and hilarious also

Overall a group that really deserves so much better than they've gotten so far. Their most recent comeback was in January with I Love You, and was the first time they were fully back with all 5 members after their main vocalist Solji went on medical hiatus for 2 years. So it was a pretty big deal. She was back vocally in the comeback before that (DDD - another great song and video), but not well enough to be in the MV or promote the song with the group. Ah Yeah is another really good one - and that MV and dance plays off of the dance in Up and Down quite a bit. They were full on about to disband since that was their last shot comeback and it failed to chart, they had already wrapped promotions when a fan cam of Hani doing the dance live went viral and the song finally charted, making them resume promotions and stay together as a group. The added attention also got their dance banned, so they were no longer allowed to perform it on TV. The Ah Yeah MV is a commentary about that but the song itself is absolute fire and really does a great job of showcasing how well they are able to organically fit LE's raps into their songs.
