The Supremes, unlike any other musical group female or male, totally broke the color barrier. There’s never been, before or after, any group that was more loved, admired, respected, and even envied than this amazingly talented trio of songstresses. I’m a 64-year-old white man from the South, and The Supremes has not one recording that I don’t know every single word of. These ladies and their music will live on in my heart forever.
I’ve been listening to the supremes and the temptations my whole life and I’m probably going to forever. Love this music with my heart and soul. RIP to David, Paul, Florence, Mary, Eddie, Dennis, Melvin and Elbridge without them this music wouldn’t be so great and very special. Thank you! For the Music! 🪄🎶🎤❤️🕊
Supremes are top, but this medley reminds me when I saw them in 1967 in Europe. They did a medley, it lasted about 40 minutes. Everybody was so disappointed, I can still feel it now, seriously. But I saw them! Never forgot it!
Brings back so many memories listening and dancing to my favorite Motown music. Dianna Ross and the Supremes were my favorite! The 60’s was a busy decade for me with the advent of so much good music and dancing. Graduating, first job, Service, Marriage and my first Child.
Unreal how many #1s they banged out 1964-1967. Then , Temptations and 4 Tops tiled AM radio. Joe I miss those days. Smoothing with my GF at the drive in. Young people now have no clue.
Awwww memories when my older siblings jammed out to these beautiful women! I remember every waord!word! Music artists aren't anything like they used to be! I want to get up and dance! Woo hooo! Great compilation! I love them still! 2022!
The Supremes were the three of them. Flo got the group together, named them, and it touches my heart seeing all of this love for her. Mary was my big sister in my head. Cindy Birdsong stepped in fantastically. I loved Mary's group too.
Very cool, My sister was into soul. I was in grade school and would come home from school and she had the Supremes on the record player. She has passed on and this vidieo has brought sister Patty back. Cool. They had soul. Peace. Greg-Zuan.
It was a shame that Gordy wouldn’t produce Florence for a solo career after the Supremes. The three of them created a unique sound that was a huge hit. Florence and Mary had legit voices hence the incredible backing vocals and harmonies.
And to believe Diana Ross got nominated for a grammy in 2022 What a life And she's had true love PEOPLE for Flo ( Blondie) and Mary and they're family!
She was a diamond that needed some polishing. Berry Gordy had a potential superstar at his fingertips but he chose to ignore. If the time and money would have been spent with her that was spent with Diana, she would have blown Diana "right off the circuit". We know that Diana did not make it to the top based on her talents, she made it on her back. She did not care about who she stepped on to get what she wanted, if she could have stepped on "God", she would done it in order to get what she wanted. A person like Diana was not a team player at all, she was about herself, for herself and of her self. This existed during the period that she was a Supreme and it shows even to date. .
Just as background singer. Okay, a few recordings of her are nice, not more. Question: Who are the Supremes? The answer ist easy. Diana Ross, greatly backed up by Florence Ballard. Btw there greatest Hit "Someday We'll Be Together" is without Flo and Mary!
..Gots to have 5 or 6 years old when i heard these on the A.M. radio stations on the old Victrolas models remember those people very early to mid 60's watching my older sisters dancin' away before my kiddie eyes..
Oh it just was my soul music does. I dance with soul food and just lead my life with such a bravado the trees quake in aspen Colorado when I wake for yet another great day of living it large and in charge of so much great things to come

I say it was not Diana alone but her style and beautiful voice gave that group a sound that made them the greatest sounding group of all time!!!The public made that decision undenible!!!
So many great songs from the Supremes in the 60s and 70s. I could go on all day naming songs I played growing up to these fabulous Ladies. Going down for the third time, Remove this Doubt, Reflections, I hear a symphony, Surfer Boy, who could ever doubt my love, I'm in love again, forever came Today, My world is empty without you, Some things you never get used to, Love child, Nathan Jones, He's my Man, Stone Love, This is the Story, Here Comes the Sunrise, Happy is a Bumpy Road. On and on and on. I had a songs for every mood good or bad. Each member had something special and I remember my girlfriends would talk about who's your favorite Supreme. Mine was Florence Ballard. I remember seeing the Jet magazine Cover with her in front of her boarded up house. That was the talk of the neighborhood back in the day Then only to see in the same Magazine not long after with a picture of Flo in a casket. Just heartbreaking to see. To be on top of the world one minute and destitute a decade later. I just wish she could have kept her house. Thank you for the Music. Rest in peace Florence Ballard and Mary Wilson.🎶🙏♥️
So very sad Why didn't someone from Motown helped save her house from being taken ... No matter what, I've read and seen documentaries and she was mistreated in a taunting kind of way by B Gor... ... While she's performing on stage, he wud have C Birdsong come to study her moves and performances, setting things up for Florence removal of the group .... that was very low when she was the reason for the group in the first place
I grew up listening to the Supremes in the 1960s and 70s in my dad's pick up truck with my parents and my sister running errands on Saturdays and on transistor radios in our house on WHB am radio !!! Wish I could bring all those days back again ! So many wonderful memories !!! God Bless you all !!! Kansas City ❤️ 🙏 😊
