Anisimova hits like a truck. Maybe a player to watch in 2019.
Did you watched the number of unforced errors Anisimova made. She plays like Ostapenko. Because of that she's falling like a stone in the ranking (I mean Anisimova).

What a fun crowd! It’s like a football match
In my country, Colombia, we are all like that. Btw I was always supporting Anisimova, she's great in her shots, but I think she and Kenin and Collins have a lot of margin for error, that is,they are so aggressive and hit the ball very hard, that they end up making mistakes, they have to be controlled and be a little more precise. Very happy for her triumph, as a colombian my country tenistically it is light years away, there are no strong-minded and winning players, and the only sport that gives it the most support is soccer and sometimes the prizes and recognitions, they are brought by other sports disciplines and not football. Just imo!👌🏻🎾💯

My 3 favs, Amanda, Kenin and Collins but Alfredo is right, they are high risk players unlike Halep, Wozniaki, Kasatkina etc. I think those 3 Americans are more disciplined than Ostapenko and Lisicki however. I was also very impressed by the 17 yr old Columbian girl.
Wish U.S. had more clay court tournaments, it's a different type of tennis for sure
I think grass would be more suitable for Amanda's game style
It'll me much harder to time her strokes correctly on grass. Kinda like Thiem. I think she'll struggle on grass.

Osorio is Columbian. She is 18 years old and is currently ranked #205, and her career high was #184. Anisimova is also 18 years old and is ranked #28, and was as high as #21 last year.

So poised and clean on the ball, Anisimova. I see a touch of Lindsay Davenport and even Steffi Graf in her style. Perhaps Davenport off the backhand and Graf on the forehand and in those long legs. She has great potential if she can learn to keep more of her shots in the court.

This was a tremendously poor performance by Anisimova. Over 55 unforced errors. This is embarrassing
But she still found a way to win which is impressive given that she didn't play her best
@@KH-sn2sj that's hardly an achievement against a fairly weak player. Granted, Serrano should've lost a long time ago, but for some reason her opponents kept gifting her matches, like Ahn, for example. But that's a whole different story.
Anyway, that was a horrendous performance. 55+ unforced errors. This is almost 14 games. That she just gifted. She was unable to get the ball in the court for the most part of the match.
So getting a victory in three sets, losing 1-6 the second and barely winning the third over a kid that is basically still learning to play competitive tennis isn't something to be proud of.

I really think Osorio Serrano doesn’t have the game to be in the top 100 . She really has a poor serve because Anisimova was always hitting winners from hit and I think she isn’t using her powerful forehand to her advantage
