I was worried too. But it's completley fine, I have heard that their language training is top notch from actual students, who learnt Japanese from 0 within 1.5 years.

I contacted an associate professor at CiRA, Kyoto University and he issued me a LoP for the Japanese government scholarship. I’m still waiting for the result but based on what u said, the Entrance exam of the graduate school of medicine is extremely difficult. I’m afraid I could not pass. Do u think I should take the risk?

These days professor are so busy. They do not look our research proposal also. They either ask for JLPT or IELTS score, which I do not like. I was a teacher and a professional also. I went to Japanese Language school but they did not show any interest.

It's called Kyoto iUP. I think this is a quite new program since Kyodai just launched it 3 years ago. However it is definitely awesome, and they offer a full-ride scholarship for every student who got in.

It’s a personal ranking, it also varies depending on the major
When I studied abroad at Kyodai, it was still ranked as #1 in Japan so it changes every year! Global rankings might also depend on different standards too~
