For someone who has just been been started to buy volcas and need to justify to myself the money this is the best justification. Absolutely stunning. I recommend anyone using this when in need of an excuse to get more volcas
I need an excuse to get my first volca, but can't decide which one...
Equi3v : Thank you so much, that’s a great compliment!! :)
Agustin Boyadjian : Yup, that’s a tough one, now that there are so many. I’ll give you my opinion. If you want to start with drums / beats, go for the Sample, very versatile and with a great sequencer. If you want to start with melodies / synths, go for either the Keys or FM, depending on the sound you prefer. They’re both equally great for bass sounds, leads and chords. They’ll both take some time to get into, so be patient. Final tip: start with one Volca, and really get to know it before you buy the next one. This way you won’t be overwhelmed. :)
@@SlenterendeBeer thanks¡ I think I want to start with beats/samples but I cant play drum machines
Agustin Boyadjian : The Sample is quite easy to get into, so I think you’ll like it. What makes you think you can’t play drum machines?
Esto esta muy bueno

Güney Doğan : Hey man!! :)
Hey guys, I have been following your channel for a year now. Let me just begin by saying, I love retrowave 🔥 That vintage feel just takes you back to a safe place and it's really refreshing and energetic for the mind as well. Keep up the great music!
One thing though, your channel name is a tongue twister and I still have issues searching your sets....even after a year 😅 Because your name is confusing and not easy to remember.
If you ever thought about any other cool name for project, now's the time!
Peace ☮️
P.S. : I am subscribed to you guys plus the bell thing. But I'm also subscribed to over 300 channels 😅 Hard to search you (or anyone else) in that clutter!
Shiv Kumar Sharma : Hey thanks man!! It’s great to hear you like our music so much. We will be doing some more retrowave pretty soon! I understand the name is tricky - it’s more of a pun really. But it’s gotten us 15K followers across different social media platforms, so I don’t think we’ll be changing it anytime soon. :)
@@SlenterendeBeer cool
very nice...i think i might get one of those mixers ...hmm..
Dillip Phunbar : Thanks man!! It’s highly recommended. :)
Great stuff. Which synth is controlling the drums?
Suzanne Atkinson : Thanks!! Drums are played by the Volca Sample, using a custom sample set. :)
Hi, what is best for deep low basses, the nubass o the classsic bass?
Huge powersession. Stopping recording is a nuisance we all endure time by time.
Ludwig Kopp : Thanks man!! :)
Also, what is producing the stereo in the final piece? Volca outputs are mono right?
The Mixer
Suzanne Atkinson : Some Volcas are stereo: Drum, FM, Modular, Sample. The Drum and Sample allow you to pan individual sounds. However, in this jam the Sample goes through the Waldorf 2-Pole, which is mono. So the real difference (in terms of stereo) is made by the effects pedals: the Timeline, Ventris and Specular Reverb. We also add some reverb from the mixer to the drums (Sample). :)
@@SlenterendeBeer Thank you so much! I have the Beat and just got them hooked up to monitors today. They sound so great compared to the ittle speaker! Thanks for the amazing music and responses.
Nice work as always. What do you use the Retrokits RK-004 for?
Dan Smith : Thanks, Dan!! In this case we use the RK-004 as a straightforward MIDI splitter. :)
