Please, as I have been a complete dope for the first 25 years, pray for me and the journey I'm about to undertake... I Love My Wife. But. I have not shown her for a long time. I backslid from God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit. I have felt horrible ever since. I am tired of being the selfish, sinning jerk that I have been. I want my relationship with God/Jesus/The Holy Spirit to be refreshed. As I pray that my marriage is not done, I also pray that it is not too late for me to make ammends with God and to be forgiven and have God and Jesus in my life, and to help me to save me and my marriage. Because we are at the point where both of us are not leaving one another... but we certainly have our mental bags packed, it would seem. Anyway... I know, a bit TMI. My fiancé and I just had a big fight about a week ago. Almost entirely my fault. She was on the verge of leaving, but found just enough grace to give me a chance to work things out. She introduced me to Fireproof. I had heard of it, but never watched it. Being completely honest, I hadn’t shed an emotional tear in almost 20 years.. until last night. I’m committing to this completely, because I lost this woman once due to my ignorance and immaturity, and almost lost her again. I’m going to do everything I can to become the man she has always deserved.
Ok I'm having to watch these late. My wife and I watched Fireproof and immediately got the book. We found your videos on this and jumped on board. We've been married for 37 years and still think how wonderful this is. God Bless. We are enjoying this.

Update my ex has agreed to try again but she is having a difficult time seeing me as a spiritual leader I have broken a lot of promises I have made to her but I can feel God working in this situation. If you wouldn't mind please agree and help pray with me that God will allow her to start seeing the changes He is making in me and that she can start to see me as a spiritual leader and her husbands who is worthy of marrying her.
I've attempted the Love Dare and have always crashed and burned. Now am seperated from my husband and am glad to have found this. Perhaps now it will be possible for me to follow through without getting discouraged.

I'm an Atheist but I loved the movie and I'm a hopeless romantic. I was in Catherine's position in my ex marriage and a decade later, with a fiance. Both addicted to porn and lied about it. I've been promoting Fireproof to other people for over a decade. I am very against porn for both for selfish reasons and because the industry profits off sex trafficking, modern day slavery. I understand not everyone is naturally monogamous but I am. Society today often criticizes people do having standards/ boundaries for their relationships. We live in a sex-obsessed society today. Most millennials have been exposed to porn from an early age. Back in the 90s, most people dien't have porn blockers. Even kids on school computers have accidentally stumbled upon porn via pop-ups or clicking links without knowing what's on the other side, back in the 90s and early 2000s. So people no longer have a healthy view of sex/ relationships.
I have started this Love Dare a few times and always stopped after a few days. I am so glad that I found this vlog that you have done. I also think that this will help me in all my relationships, not with just my husband of 27 years.
Doing this because my wife already got her own place but hasn’t moved out yet and I know if she does she won’t come back. I can truly say fireproof is my favorite movie of all time. I have tried the Dare but gave up in the middle but I’m back trying to save a relationship that I am in with my children mother and I feel like I’m losing the battle.. not being a strong faith believer I finally want to give my self to God and also make my relationship work and save my family. I can truly say fireproof is my favorite movie of all time. I have tried the Dare but gave up in the middle but I’m back trying to save a relationship that I am in with my children mother and I feel like I’m losing the battle.. not being a strong faith believer I finally want to give my self to God and also make my relationship work and save my family. Just seem so dark and overwhelmed at times.. I want to take this challenge seriously and also become a new Man of God. Something I never have done before at all..
