Hi, I’m Patrick. I’m a freelance science writer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and a master’s in clinical exercise physiology. I used to work in the clinical setting as a certified athletic trainer, physical therapy aide, and a certified strength and conditioning specialist. After working in the clinical setting, I went back to school and became a teacher. The goal of my content is to help normal people, not just pre-med students, learn about the human body. That might mean explaining a topic from an anatomy class or exploring a topic from medical history.

That sweet n' savory histology content! Thanks for watching
I just came across your channel and I’m so glad I found you! I have my anatomy final in two days so I’ll be binge watching all your videos. You do such a great job at explaining things and breaking it down to easily understand. You are wonderful! ❤️
hands down to all ppl behind these videos! This type of educational vids is what I needed to pass my major exams in dentistry, all we need to know is summed up in just a few minutes! I'd love to watch for more!
Much love from the Philippines! I'm in my 1st year of Medical Laboratory Science and I cannot emphasize enough how helpful your videos are in making me understand and ENJOY anatomy!!
This helps me understand basic histology so well!
So glad i found you.
I wish I found this before my last test! Thank you, great source I will use from now on
I love your sense of humor
Thanks a lot Sir 🙌🏻. It's very helpful. Stay healthy.
this channel is phenomenal. you make learning fun again. unfortunately, i find that higher education is often about make-work and compliance, rather than mastery and curiosity.
luckily, we’re seeing more channels like yours challenge this trend. best of luck with everything!
I love this channel! Thanks for another great episode.
Glad you enjoy it!
Love finding new creators which have great content and watching them grow
one advice just keep the good content coming

@@Corporis Good to hear

Thanks for watching!
Great video much thanks
You're amazing! ❤️ I'm doing cancer research, mainly on gastrointestinal cancers, and this recap is of enormous value 🔥 your lecturing skills are bespoke and the visuals accompanying are 10/10
I appreciate the kind words, thank you. Best of luck with your research
Your talent to teach so much in so little time is just out of this world.
Thanks pal.
I appreciate that! Best of luck in your studies
This is fascinating. Have you ever done a video about our vocal cords, the diaphragm, and other contributing anatomy pieces that create our voice / singing? Oh and how fat attaches and affects our organs and voice? Thank youuuu.
I’ll also review all your videos.
I have always been fascinated with concepts about life and you gave me the name for it histology, physiology and anatomy. Thank you for that too! Now I know what I will go to school for next. 💗
That's so wonderful to hear, thank you for the comment! Best of luck in your future studies!
I haven't done a video about the vocal cords yet, but I'll look into it as a future topic
Hey Patrick, I have my Anatomy, Physiology, and Pathology exams packed into the next three months, followed by my MBLEX. Needless to say, we are going to be friends, so thanks!

Congratulations on admission! Best of luck with your studies.
this came out just in time
Happy to be of service
thanks from thailand
Welcome!
Just the video to satisfy my curiosity 😌
I'm glad!
Did you ever make the video “absorbing nutrients ? “
Thank's :^) 👏👏
My pleasure!
I usually love your channels but this one was hard to watch because there are so much basic anatomy/physio terminologies that I thought everyone should know already. It's so hard to watch for me. I wish the physio part were all done at the start then do all the histology after because I just wanna look at the slides and know what I'm looking at.
What software do you use to animate this presentation?
Mostly Adobe After Effects for the animations. Thanks for watching :)
Have the notes been taken down?
Is there a reason, besides what we are descended from, why we don't have a "gizzard" or gizzard-like organ? It'd be interesting if we had to swallow rocks on a routine basis. I'm sure "influencers" would have their own trendy types of rocks including the shapes and colors.
Hahaha, I'm sure Gwenyth Paltrow would be all over it -- Goop Gizzard Stones!
Hey, Vsauce, spit facts. Digestion begins with saliva
Grabbing things and putting them in our face holes to absorb nutrients is a weird thought.
Sometimes I don't even grab them. I lead with my face hole
I feel like throwing up after drinking milk. Tastes too good though so im not giving it up
You're so cute
