Super Robot Showcase: Sarg from "Argento Soma" / スパロボショーケース：「アルジェントソーマ」のザルク

What if Sarg and Frank from "Argento Soma" were in Super Robot Wars? An ability showcase.
Argento Soma is a 25 episode anime series that includes aspects of the Real Robot genre as well as of giant robot companions as seen in Mitsuteru Yokoyama's works. The series further distinguishes itself by its morally ambiguous protagonist. Along with the broadcast 25 episodes, the series was followed by an OVA, consisting of an additional episode focusing on the character of Sue Harris.
Set in a future where humanity is struggling with the appearance of giant destructive aliens, the series follows metallurgy student Takuto Kaneshiro, who participates in a secret experiment to revive an alien robot, dubbed Frank, on behest of his girlfriend and her professor. A power surge causes the experiment to go out of control, leaving Takuto as the only survivor.
After its escape, Frank is befriended by Harriet "Hattie" Bartholomew, an orphan who identifies him as a fairy, and the two are taken in by the military organization Funeral to fight against the alien invasion. In order to take revenge against Frank, Takuto Kaneshiro adopts the identity of the Funeral pilot Riu Soma.
The title of the series is taken form the Greek words "ΑΡΓΈΝΤΟ ΣΏΜΑ", translating to "Silver Body". The Greek meaning of "soma" is referred to in the series itself, as well as a similarly named elixir mentioned by early Hindus. However, the series mispells the title as "ΑΠΗΕΝΤΟ ΣΟΜΑ", or "Apiento Soma".

In the series itself, the name "Frank" comes from Frankenstein's monster. It's just one of several names he's referred to by, such as EX-1 (pronounced "Extra One") by military organizations such as Funeral and Mr. Fairy by Hattie.
Aside from being revived by an scientific experiment, he actually doesn't have as strong a conceptual resemblance to Frankenstein's monster as the name would suggest. For a mecha series more fundamentally inspired by the story of Frankenstein, a better example would actually be Tetsujin #28, which emphasizes that the robot has no innate predisposition towards good or evil, just as Frankenstein's monster was a blank slate that only became evil due to the influence of humanity.

I normally wouldn't immediately make something based on a suggestion but since Go-3 Elemental Wheel is such as a short series, I thought it would be a good one to release while I looked at a much longer series.
