If you ran the dozers in tandem along the length of the berm with the blades angled, you would eliminate the empty backing-up passes. You'd just have to turn around once in a while.
A D11 might crush those pipes. You have to be careful when "padding" those pipes. Here we have to haul in loamy soil to pad or backfill pipes because of all the natural rocky soil. In the video here it must have been a breeze not having the expense and time hauling in proper backfill dirt. A D11 could be used to push the dirt up to the pipe and use the smaller CAT to complete the burial over the pipe.
@@darylsmioth1904 I could easily see that. That would be a lot to mentally get past a job like that. It’d seem like it would never get finished. Pay is good though lol.
They need much bigger equipment
I was just watching some Caterpillar videos and they could use those D11's.

This looks like a long tough job, the dozer driver is a very brave man. The camera work is great to, greetings from Grandpa Pete from France 🇫🇷🙏🫶👍👍👍
How is he brave??
I watched about 20 minutes of this and was exhausted. Guy needs a D11 lol.
