- I really need to put more though into my casting choices. Yes, Fluttershy is the best fit for Sally, but she almost never interacts with Pinkie. Sigh... somewhere along the line I lost my groove. I think this set has just been too long. At least the end is in sight!

I'll add my voice in supporting the choice of Fluttershy for this song, Sally doesn't really interact with Jack directly during the musical numbers until right at the very end of the movie during the reprise medley. That was part of Sally's character actually, being too shy to get Jack to notice her leaving her merely watching at a distance. As such Fluttershy is Perfect for this song and for Sally. Ypu are being too over-critical of yourself, the Groove was inside you this whole time.

Fluttershy's a really good casting choice, but Twilight could've worked just as well. It's too bad she was a better fit as Star Swirl the Bearded for Santa Clause. Have you ever considered possibly doing an alternative version of this song with Twilight?
