Sinhala song sounds more refined both in voice and instruments. Anyway full credit goes to the original composer for creating the beautiful tune.

@Azhar Hussain: Victor Rathnayake is a Sri Lankan legend. If he was a Indian he would have been revered as second coming of Mohammed Rafi. He is a bloody brilliant vocalist. Comparing Urdu and Sinhalese is bit difficult, because Urdu has many arabic loan words while Sinhala has many Tamil loan words, despite the similar ancestry. Hence you will find some modifications in the notes in Sinhala song. Here is the link to the Sinhala song.
