This is such a classic Filipino song! I hope Filipino composers can come up with powerful lyrics such as those in the 70s and 80s. Love Lea Salonga and Ariel Rivera doing a cover of this song. Wasn't born yet when this was originally released by the 70s Filipino band New Minstrels I think
Actually, they were probably kids when this song came out. Lea was born in 1971. I’m pretty sure Ariel is a few years older than her. I know Lea has an appreciation for songs of the 70s and 80s since she listened to them growing up. It’s great to hear her renditions.
