How To Add Watermarks in Photoshop | 3 ways to add a logo to your photos in Adobe Photoshop

- How to add watermarks in Photoshop is a frequent request here and when the Request Box asks, we deliver. In this video, I'll run through 3 different ways to add a watermark to photos in Photoshop, including the Libraries method that you've seen me use before.
Adding a logo to photos in Photoshop is a good skill to know because you can place it more carefully than you would be able to in Lightroom, and you can augment the layer to blend nicely with the picture. Try to not make the watermark on your photo too big, keep it subtle but clear!

In the beginning I had my watermark as a jpg with black lettering on white background. I wanted it to be white, tho. So I always put in the jpg, inverted it, then changed blendmode to screen. 😂

This was awesome and helped a lot. I’m having trouble creating a library. The final way is great however doesn’t allow you to resize your logo. Mine is too large for that method.

I wish I saw this video long ago I have seen so many weird variants of this watermarking but by far I have changed my way to do it after this video !:) great work . Also slight request for future I would love to learn how to edit a dog into another picture so cut a dog out and add him to another

I hate watermarks on photos. They are pompous, distracting and unnecessary.
Each to their own I suppose. They’re good to have on social media as a deterrent for photo theft that’s for sure!
