Jalen Carter is the reason.
For the season 😂
Carter was just getting bullied against Lindstrom (Falcons)….Sunday he looked like prime Aaron Donald 🤦🏽♂️
Dude was angry af
We lost our starting center 3 plays in
Hope he shows up next week too!! All of them honestly but the trenches sets the tone! 💚

Saints don’t have a prayer without the real McCoy. While McCoy's absence severely affected the offensive line, it also raises questions about the depth and versatility of the backup players on the team, hinting at potential weaknesses in the roster structure.
Game over
The Eagles didn't have their HOF Center. So there's that.
@@davidvbobb7785 that[s hella lot different cuz they had the whole off seasson to prepare
@@davidvbobb7785Saints didn't have any time to prepare with their backup center, in fact the LG moved over to play center, meaning he had zero practice reps there. The results speak for themselves. That's obviously different then losing your center the week prior and at least getting someone prepared to play the position.
Carter is an absolute force out there. He's living up to his draft status hype.
Jalen Carter was a one man wrecking crew
Agree. But without McCoy- our O-line feel apart. What is frustrating is the offensive did not make adjustment and provide additional blockage. Use the Fullback for protection. Now we are seeing this issue with Kubiak. No second half adjustment.
Not really, the Saints beat themselves.
The saints got dominated at both lines of scrimmage. #KnoFootball @@victorglaviano
@@MATTA84 sure they did with causing 3 turnovers, blocked punt and I believe 2 sacks and 15 points that's not domination by any measure, but hey it's ok some of us bought into our hype a week ago also.
@@victorglaviano comparing the yardage this game shoulda never been close saints got dominated
Pretty sure Jalen Carter could have been on that D line alone and still pressured the QB.
Also, Ruiz probably ignored Carter because Jalen was whooping him play after play. Man can only take so much lol
When you have this guy, this guy and this guy looking back at THIS guy. 😂😂
Shaheed should have looked for the ball sooner on that last interception. If he looks, he adujsts his route and catches the ball. I guess not though.
Carr was missing wildly the entire game. He was shook.
Suuuuuure 😂
This is one of the dumbest comments anyone can make, of course, typical of someone who is clueless about football. @@akeredun
@@angelhr79 Kick rocks, bot.
@@akeredunmissing wildly? What game were you watching? He had 2 inaccurate passes the whole game outside of the pick, which IMHO was a miscommunication more than being inaccurate. Carr was def expecting Shaheed to make a play guy the ball but he didn't. Things like that happen when you're 3 games into a new system.
Eagles were missing AJ Brown and also awkwardly adjusting to a new center, Cam Jurgens. We then lost Devonta Smith because of dirty play by Saints.
Dont forget LJ went down early
Wasn’t dirty. Refs should’ve blown the whistle but didn’t.
@nonameattached9671 because they didn't blow the whistle doesn't make it not dirty. Then spitting on someone after a dirty hit I guess is also OK since they didn't blow a whistle right?

Carter is a beast " "
Jalen Carter is nice my man, don't beat Ceasar up to bad.
JC did his thang!!!And destroyed the offensive line which,in turn, destroyed the Saints ability to effectively run their offense....
If Carr doesn’t throw the ball on that interception it’s a 1 second Sack! What does he do there, gave his guy a chance to make a play but the pass was too quick for the play to develop but Carr has NO choice but to throw early. He later said in his post game interview that he should have skipped the ball to live another down. Even Mahomes has no chance there with this Oline, c’mon let’s be real here guys.
Yea that was a dumb throw for a veteran QB! Also hardly no play action.
@@victorglaviano Theres a reason why there is no playaction...you have a backup center and guards getting BEAT
how on earth are you suppose to run play action when if you were to run it or pass it the DT will deny it.That is why they were trying so hard to run to the outside. To use play action you NEED to be able to run up the middle...otherwise just play in shot gun and use RB to protect from pass rush since they keep getting beat.
@@victorglavianoit wasn't dumb, the WR didn't even look back for it until it was too late....meaning he wasn't expecting the pass. Carr obviously felt that he should have been expecting the pass, which means it was a miscommunication, which tends to happen 3 games in to a new system. Plus the DB made an absolutely insane play to get the pick.
6 to 8 weeks for a groin is going to crush this offensive line with McCoy being out. Watching the last two games Ruiz was doing the light work. Now with McCoy out he will not be able to handle with the uncertainty that is Penning. Again there were no insurance policies taken. If you know you have an uncertainty at that position develop a standard of drafting 1st,2nd or 3rd round pick to design your line.Don't talk to me at the 7th round tackle we drafted when you have an uncertainty at both tackle spots. Our strong side is our weakness and teams will exploit. Carr isn't elite enough to audible on site to turn a weakness into a strength.
The real problem with the saints was they refused to pass when the run wasn’t working DC only had 15 pass attempts till 4-5 mins left In 4th ..they just kept trying to run and going away from the pass when Olave and Carr were connecting
Because they are afraid to pass because they are getting beat inside. Getting beat inside on the trenches = no running middle and no deep passes. Only thing they could do would be Jet motions but taysom hill injured so nope to that...quick passes but dbs were playing tight so thats pick 6...or roll out carr which is the only option but Carr rolling out with unstable oline and him being slow aint it.
Another option would to use the TE on checkdowns but it seems like this year teams forget about TEs. Imagine if having a TE run a quick pitch to the outside. There are only 6 TEs in the league with 12 completions (4 per game) its pretty low. TEs are the cover 2 beater...they force either linebackers to move outside box to enable runs or force a safety to cover.
@@CSM_KobeniCarr isn't slow at all man, hes actually as fast as anyone. 4.6 40. He's a pocket passer by choice.
@@jessegardner134 That 40 yard 4.6 was in 2014. He isn't a pocket passer by choice it is the play calling. I would like to see more roll out TE slants or go routes to Olave. But other than that I am not forcing him on the outside especially since those tackles cant guard for 2 secs.
@@CSM_Kobeni oh no, he is absolutely a pocket passer by choice....just like scrambling QB's do it by choice. Carr can run and scramble as well as anyone, but always looks to make the throw vs running. Every QB is in systems designed for then to throw. Sure, there are designed keeper plays, but they don't outnumber the designed pass plays. The only real argument is LJ, but that was bc he was legit terrible at passing back then. He's gotten better in recent years tho.
Philadelphia eagles lost two offensive lineman including their best offensive lineman Lane Johnson. And they play without their star receiver AJ Brown
Perfect time to buy his numbered prizm cards. Just bought his gold /10.
Vic Fangio's adjustments on defense switching between 4 and 5 on the line.
Inompetence on the Saints OL cost us this game.
Let's see how the Bucs plays Fangio's D...and hear what yall have to say next week
I disagree with you on the 2nd play Carr should of threw with anticipation by the time defense was in his face Olave was out of his break and was wide open.
BTW that's Jordan Davis [a.k.a. Baby Huey] (#90) at the 6:09 mark, not Mr. Carter (#98).
Man how much do we miss Hill and McCoy
It seems that they really do well out of those 5 man fronts. The Falcons found the weakness in that defense with their outside stretch zone plays. It kept the eagles from playing really aggressive and down hill as the falcons would just beat them to the edge if they over peruse. Then when they settle back to play laterally Robinson cuts back up the B gap or inside. They had the perfect game plan to force the Eagles into a situation where they struggled.
I believe these 5 man fronts would have helped a lot but the over pursuit of their ILB really hurt them. Dean plays quick always. Sometimes he runs himself out of a play without being blocked. Baun has really showed out this year and reminds me of TJ Edwards. Who I believe was the biggest loss after the Super Bowl. Howie doesn’t value quality ILB enough to pay them and it really killed the eagles last year. Especially across the middle. They had the worst coverage inside the numbers in the entire league.
This game would have been a blow out if the eagles had AJ Brown
No lies told
true that...Hurst usually stuggles without AJ reason he's not a top tier QB
An oldie but goodie here it goes; if IF were a FIFTH OF WHISKEY we would all be drunk!

Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis is Why... BEASTS!
Jordan Davis made the sack not Jalen Carter. Carter was the main wrecking ball over the course of the game though.
Fangio doesn’t play 5 down. He plays 4 down but since we were playing the saints he adjusted.
Great video .. keepem coming.. go birds
How do you defeat a big defensive line, simple motion, play action and RPO... I learned this in HS 35 - 40 years ago!
You can't run play action when you are getting beat in the center and guards. Play action requires RBs to be able to run up middle. Literally every play they are getting beat. They are getting beat even when its 4 guys rushing and saints have 5 guys + TE + RB. Carr had 2.2 secs to throw...how on earth is he suppose to completely a pass to the 3 other guys still havent finished their route?
Nice breakdown! ANY team that gets destroyed on the O-line like this loses the game period!!!!!! O-line lost this game for the Saints! If Carr had another second on that throw to Shaheed in the end zone he puts it over the top a nd the Saints win this game! That one play alone!
On the 3rd & 11, the more I look at it, the more stuff I see that likely impacted the play...You can see Carter doesn't even really rush, and is locked onto Carr's eyes. They had already batted one down at the line, and he makes an attempt at the ball to Tipton... Maybe he was expecting man across the board when Maddox followed Tipton across the formation? If that was the case, Baun would have been covering Johnson instead of letting him run past him to the safety. That might have even been his assignment, but he realized doing so would leave Tipton wide open. Maybe Carr threw it to Tipton because he had the mismatch with Baun? Or some combination of multiple factors... Imo I think he expected Baun to stay with Johnson. If Baun had Johnson in coverage, he would have been turning to catch up to him instead of breaking on Tipton, and Tipton has a pretty decent shot of picking up the 1st down.
I think the Saints got too complacent, started believing the hype - and starting acting like they're gonna redo the 1985 Bears Super Bowl Shuffle. Saints will get it together, as long as DC under center....
Yep, that's a fact!
The problem with the Saints is that Derek Carr is an average QB at best, like most NFL QB's (Goff, etc.), without protection. Just like he was with the Raiders. Why they released him is beyond me ... I'm an old, really old, Raiders fan, when the Birds sucked. Gardner Minshew ... really? And when the Saints lost McCoy (C), for all intents & purposes Sunday, the game was lost. Not that Jalen Hurts is any better, though his ability to run adds another dimension, similar to Lamar Jackson (of the Ravens) and/or Josh Allen (of the Bills) and like them he has a decent offensive line, with some OL depth, thanks to our brilliant OL coach, Jeff Stoudtland. One of the big reasons we were able to withstand losing Lane Johnson & Mekhi Becton, at the beginning of the game.
First play 9 guys within 10 yards....audible to play action that opens the run the whole game. Next play Carr already knew who he was throwing to..he had plenty time to throw to Olave...98 was still 5 yards away

Geez, amazing how a team can look like world beaters one week and the bottom of the barrel the next. Makes you wonder what the heck did Carr do to tick off his O line? Lol.. I get McCoy got hurt early but the entire line shouldn't have collapsed like this.
No blocking. McCoy hurt, Tysom Hill hurt and Moreaux trying to fill in couldnt block diddly squat.
Good job😊
The Eagles are adjusting to a new DC. It’s going to take time

6:16 that's Jordan Davis AKA Godzilla
This dude legit said that the saints lost because they were missing Taysom Hill and their center got injured….
Taysom Hill???😂
Actually yeah. I am not a saints fan and thought he was overrated but I noticed even when Kamara is running it (I have kamara on fantasy which is why i am here) Hill is able to hit the holes for kamara as well as has better hands than shahead.
Watch the 4&1 play and watch foster get absolutely demolished and kamara is short by inches because of it.
Trevor Penning is the epitome of mediocrity smh…
IDK what's up with him, spastic or something, the penalty he caused late was absolutely stupid! Although CJGJ got away with the opening one against Kamara.
Theres always a butt! All the defense had to due is hold the eagles on more time once Saints went ahead. Instead, an eagles tight end gets the ball and runs it down to close to the goal line.
Injuries on offense expect less than efficient play.
Fully healthy defense should have stopped the Eagles.
That was just Lattimore running into one of the safeties, that's just a blown play. Considering the defense had 3 turnovers, held the Eagles most of the game, considering they were on the field most of the day!
Not with a fully healthy Eagles Offense 🤷🏻♂️ AJ brown is a huge difference maker . Smith was knocked out the game as well.
Ruiz was getting bullied all game like my god your a grown man right??

O-Line PLAYED REALLY BAD
Saints gave up on the pass, they just kept running and running no matter how unsuccessful it was. Once they were forced into a passing situation they scored a TD. But by the end the defense knew they could tee off and pass rush every play on the final drive and they were already winning on the line all game so they ended up getting an INT. If the Saints mixed in some passes during the game they probably put up 20 and win the game.
run game wasn't working either. kamara had 3/carrrry LOL
@@JB-423 yeah I said it wasn't working
this is what i’ve been saying. it’s almost as if he though that if the run didn’t work, neither would the pass and that’s just not how it works. no endarounds, no shaheed out of the back field, no creativity. kubiak took a play out of carmichaels book today.
slay being out was the only reason they drove down the field passing it to his backup
Bad coaching from both sides. 20 points wouldn't have been enough if nick sirianni just took the points that were there. Regardless, the saints run their offensive the niners. The passing game is pretty bad when there's no threat to run the ball. Running opens up those big plays
If i was carr or the skill position guys i'd be fuming. Ruiz just made me pissed off by watching this, like damn you got whopped so hard every single play. I mean the coach could've helped him more in his defense, but still.

Eagles points came in the 4th quarter so the saints really held them up and a simple slip up on 3rd and 16 converts down field !!! We good !!!!!!
Exactly it was just a game of defense... it was 3 and 0 for a long time.
Eagles didn’t have all the good weapons either all got hurt and you guys still couldn’t beat them… 😢
Wasn’t so much the Saints stopping the Eagles as the Eagles stopping themselves. Should NOT have been as close of a game as it was.
If McCoy and Hill are present they move the ball easily.
Same for the eagles 🦅 they was missing key players on offense
Eagles coach is horrible at situational football, if the Eagles would have kicked field goals instead of going for it on multiple 4th downs they would’ve been in control for most of this game
the ANALytics are ruining coaches. the analytics never take in account how good teams are in situations. They dont take account a team losing their best WR aj brown, doesnt take in account eagles were having turnovers, doesnt take in account how good saints were on defense ETC
coaches are paid millions and can't use their brains and realize taking points when you are struggling is always the better option.

look at that....he thinks he added levity with common knowledge that anyone who is a fan of eithr team is already well aware of. And he wants us to thank him for OLD news...my my....
That makes absolutely no sense. The Eagles were fortunate enough to win the game. Take the W and try to win the games that your team HASN’T played yet!!!!!
This analysis is generous when saying that people are open. You could've given Carr two more seconds and many of these and he still wouldn't have been able to find anybody.
They should have gone to Williams as a full back to strictly be a 2nd lineman to pass protect Carr for any defender that pierced thru
That 2pt conversion, Derek played it as if Kamara was the running back. Pass was way too in front but didn’t account that Williams has a much slower burst than Kamara
Of course it helped that all 4 DT we great , not just CARTER. He was awesome, but Williams, Booker, David just shout out all zone running. Very simple when they all play like they did.
Ruiz is a mediocre player. He cant handle elite power. He's weak
Funny you mentioned Saints lost McCoy and no Hill... Eagles had no AJ top 5 WR lost Smitty WR2 Lost Lane Johnson best Right Tackle in NFL then lost Starting guard Becton and lost top CB1 Slay... So let's not mention Enemies lol

EVERTHING you are detailing, including 6:37 and 10:21 is PRECISELY what happened during the first Saints Falcons game in 2022 that resulted in Jameis' back getting broken. Two years and no progress??????
Why not mention all the players the Eagles had injured?? Making excuses for the Saints??
Eagle's Jalen Carter Destroyed the Saints Off line. That 5 man front clogged up the gaps and kept the Saints offense in Check..
Our offensive line is terrible! We need to get this fixed ASAP!!! We did a lot of max protection in the Dallas game, we should have did the same in this one! Especially after McCoy went out! Terrible coaching!!!
The 2 technic stoped the run. Lining up both tackles over saints guards, stopping zone running
Pinning did not whiff on the first level he slapped a guy’s shoulder and handed him off to the guard.
He then slipped and missed the block.
Say that isn’t what happened
Jalen Carter just wrecked everything yall tried to do all day...... This is what us Eagles fans have been expecting from him, hoping this is just scratching the surface of what he's capable of
Between Jalen Carter and Jordan Davis, the Eagles ruined the Saints.
I just discovered these breakdown videos, and they are becoming my favorites types of videos. Great breakdown!

but their fans are even sore winners lmfao......winning a FB game doesn't make yall Gods ...and Hurts will never get yall the SB trophy..bank on that guys
Watching Carr he should have in numerous cases needed to leave the pocket and buy time to find an open receiver
He doesn’t know how to do that
There was no time. When a defender has a running start on a QB who is just finishing his drop, the QB doesn't have time to pivot and dodge the defender. Carr is also a pocket passer, meaning he's always going to look to make the play with his arm 1st.
Why wouldn't Carr call a hot route on that last play? He had a free receiver right in front of him. That's the reason why Kubiak can't open up his play book and the same reason why the Peyton, Carmichael scheme didn't work because it required the QB to make checks and reroute receivers. It wasn't the play calling, it was the operator.
Stop running play action when the defensive line is continuing to crash every fake. Oh, they can't because Carr is better at one read play actions which by the way limits Kubiak to calling plays where Carr has to actually read the field.
Having a QB's back turned to a crashing defensive line spells disaster. You can't hot route or make quick passes. But with that being said, play action seems as if that's the only thing he's good at. Everybody sees what happens when he has to read the field.
There is a reason nakobe Dean the so called linebacker u mentioned was nicknames the hall monitor. Nobody got to run on him. You’re going against superior talent. Besides saints played dirty as hell and we had backups in everywhere. So some players on your team should have been fined and ejected it was so bad.
