I am 74 years old and have been sawing from the age of 15 and still at it. I’m here because you never stop learning from others. Keep coming with the great content. Storming Norman
Got to tell ya, you really teach people how to do things and close up and you take the time to explain it. You have no idea how much I have learned by watching your videos. The other day for the first time ever I changed out a carburetor in my old ms250. I would have never done that on my own I would always take it in. I have not started it as of yet but I might have to adjust it now that I know how too. So a big thank you once again.
Alabama here. Goodmorning to all. Nothing like a fun video. An Buckin being here makes it better. Sorry lve been quiet for a while. Due to health issues. But lm back .
With this demonstration you have now earned the honorary moniker “goon-nut” sir. For actually pulling the ripcord 5 times with no spark plug, trying to get this thing to start;-). Great action here. Loved it!!!
It’s always a blast to watch your videos, some days when I don’t feel like going in the woods, I turn on one of your videos, and it gives me a huge amount of motivation to go in and enjoy the outdoors, so thanks for thank buckin
I've got an almost stock (muffler modded) 2511 with the SpeedCut Nano setup, boss runs a Ripsaw 2511 with the 1/4 pitch panther setup. His was running like trash the other day (turns out it was just a dirty filter) so he grabbed mine and ran it. He said it's "nearly as good" as the ripsaw setup, which I took as a huge compliment.
Opening the muffler up is the best addition in power in modding them from those I know. Even dyno Joe who's a big echo fan and ports saws told me to just buy the modded muffler. Have a blessed day.
Howdy mr.bucken, thanks for ringing in before coffee, better get a.cup and.get.the day going, and yes that 1/4" stuff has its place especially on the pole trimmers and.the little electrics, great tutorial as always knowledge is all we get to take with us plus family!!! Kind regaurds!!!! Sierra.John!!
Howdy mr.bucken, great day for sure! Who would have thunk that power saws could bring about such good.and meaningful conversations!!! I guess that's why it's starts with the word POWER man!!! Lol,I know I'm 70 and still got the saw bug.bad!!! Lmao 🤣 I'm squirming and wiggling trying to land me 1 of them 500 I stihls,I have about everthing else but you can only run 1 at.a time, that 500 is almost or close to 7 hp for a 80 cc saw and you make it look like it's so.e kind of Ferrari or something, cab talk saws all day so better go before I get us both fired!!! As always pleasure,Sierra John
My very first chainsaw I took apart down to the crank case was my 029 super that I bought for 250. Bucks from a friend I call Eastwood lmao he is totally like Eastwood except instead of being good with guns he's good with chainsaws 🎉💥 💪. Thanx bucking billy for the vids I love them all, keep up with the hard work, love and dedication. You are a legend my friend. 💪
Hope you did have any issues from the flooding. I've seen some crazy pictures from a friend up there, lots of roads washed out, bridges out, even a railroad bridge out with the tracks hanging above the flow. Have a great day.
What is the difference between the 201 vs 2511 after being RIPSAWed? Is one WAY better than the other or is it basically brand preference? Love my echo lawn equipment and stated looking into their saws
Hey Buckin` Pretty cool video Sunday morning. Don't suppose you could get your cousin Cletus to host the show again? My wife tells me we could be twins, new subs would like him too... Love your dynamic energy bless you and yours SSh Clank Boom
Buckin, please don't hit your chainbreak to seat the clutch! It can actually cause the clutch to loosen and come off the saw very violently. Other than that, great vid as usual
Hey brother I listened to ur advice I ended finding not exactly what I wanted which was a 572 or 372 but I found a last yrs stihl 441 mag an have used it for over 6 months now an don't get me wrong it's a beast an have cut probably 100 loads of wood an its stihl strong but yesterday I ran into a bad problem an I'm in a pickle I need it really working right now all of a sudden it blew the plug out well I checked the plug an head it wasn't crossed but everytime like 5 or 6 I put it in snuggled it an it keeps blowing it out what can I do I need ur advice bro please tell me I can fix it quick until I can order a head
after i start engine clutch gets to tight and chain doesnt move by hand and to much compression felling on engine, loosen cluth and starts up runs fine untill i chain brake it or shut it off. then repeat of problem, what am i doing wrong?
Yo, chinese saws are the best I got a little Stihl MS 194 T with 1/4 chain on 14'' Stihl bar and its fast, but I think the saw is made in China cos the plastics are breaking. Its fast for fire wood, slaughter tree in the fiels, start small pieces, grab the end with left hand, saw with right hand and throw in wagon with left, and next, its fast and Now I got fire wood for 10 years in the barn. Does Stihl make these saws in China ?
The big two saw companies have factory's in China Stihl and Husqvarna Echo Japan Stihl has plants in Germany Virginia Beach Virginia USA China Brazil Husqvarna Sweden North Carolina China Brazil 18:20 18:20
Sorry Buckin, but just using the chainsaw in your own yard doesn't mean that you should wear some basic safety gear, a bad example for especially for any kids or newbies watching.

Once Echo bought Shindaiwa,it was a game changer!

If i buy the modded muffler what else needs done to my 2511t ?
@@Mo75149-j It would probably help if you installed the muffler.
Buckin i love your videos you are so much fun and love to share yor knowledge and your love.
You’re up early. Good morning Mr Smith.
That 2511t is a great little saw.
You just saved, a lot of people about $250.00 at the shop, to convert that saw to 1/4 in. Pitch. Feel good about that!
I've never used a piston stop. A piece of rope works great.
Giggle, hubbie told me the rope trick as we were watching 🥰
You were on point with this one…”what will help is a spark plug” 😂
Enjoyed the video. Those little Echo 2500T saws are great. A wonderful limbing saw. Light and well-balanced. Nice.
Thanks 👍
I love that little saw. Been thinking about a 1/4 pitch on it to try a longer bar on it. For a 25 cc saw it is quite a puller.

Good morning Jon.
Love ya ol boy
Seams so simple to change a clutch bar and chain, but if your not familiar with the process this is a great how to video. 👍
Danielson!!!! That saw rips!! I see one in my arsenal shortly.
thx
Man, this just made my morning. Thaks Billy Ray for flying by the seat of your pants on this one!

That work shop fits your lifestyle perfect all the wood came from trees that where harvested from forests that you worked.
Very true!
Great video Buckin. Had a good laugh. Who would have thought saws need a spark plug😂
Lolololol😊
Nice haircut! You should be the poster boy for safety gear!😂🥰 That's a sweet little saw 👍
Good idea!!
I run 3/8 x .043. Kinda middle ground, thinner kerf than .050 and more durable than 1/4. Full chisel and single raker.
3:21 and 6:41 😂 must have been a hearty breakfast. You’re killin me Buckin!
He he
Another great video buckin👏👍.Sure is inspiring watching your enthusiasm, you truly love what you’re doing & it shows. Thanks & stay safe,be kind 👍✌️✌️

Love my 2511t but now im wanting the conversion and send it off to ripsaw that little sucker runs good !

“Buckin Echo Ripsaw”
🥰
1/4 043 on our GTA26 & msa120c . 1/8" file . yeah its tuff to sharpen . s little slower cutting but SMOOTH as silkwith the MSA120c
I dont think anyone Ports like anyone there all different techniques they have , but RIPSAW are reliable strong and all on the same page😊
YO I want to build one ! haha that one sounds so gnarly brother !
That's a killer little saw!!
Yip
That's got a nice sound that echo
Mornin! 🌞
Evening
😮 oh you are à Deadly powersaw mac😊 Thank you again
You bet
Some grease on clutch bearing wouldn't go a miss😜.... Donny will be bosting your chops😂
They come off with an impact driver, same with the fly wheel. With out the need for a piston stop.
You just make me smile!
Then we win friend
Buckins you got to put a bit of grease on that clutch bearing when it's out..
There a new chain thats out. I believe its .325. Its in the middle between 1/4 and 3/8s. Might br worth a try
325 is not new its a standard size chain there are 5 sizes 1/4 " 325 3/8 LP 3/8 404
I"m using echo 2000 ..one handle saw....with a custom dog spike
What is the difference between the 201 vs 2511 after being RIPSAWed? Is one WAY better than the other or is it basically brand preference? Love my echo lawn equipment and stated looking into their saws
I have also just used a little impact to take the clutch off without using a stop.

I use a old boot lace for my piston stop
after i start engine clutch gets to tight and chain doesnt move by hand and to much compression felling on engine, loosen cluth and starts up runs fine untill i chain brake it or shut it off. then repeat of problem, what am i doing wrong?
I like running smaller chains
Hey Buckin, how are ya my friend.Lost your channel there for a bit got notifications turned off on me.
Sounds like your stock muffler was doing a bit of work at times there.... :D
Thats probably at least the thousand time you've done that on a saw.. the old ways still work.
What about to grease the clutch bearing?🤔
What about lubricating that clutch bearings ?🤔
G'day from straya
