1. My faithful Shepherd is the Lord Most High,
And all my many wants shall be supplied;
In pastures green He makes me down to lie,
And leads by streams which gently, gently glide.

Though I walk through the valley,
Through the dark valley,
Through the dark valley of death,
Yet I will fear no evil,

Lord, Thou art ever with me.
2. He in His love and mercy doth restore
My soul when sinking down in deep distress;
And for His own name’s sake He evermore
Guides me, and leads in paths of righteousness.

3. His goodness and His mercy shall not cease
Through all my pilgrimage to follow me;
And in Jehovah’s house my dwelling place
With Him in heav’n for evermore shall be.
