just a question for you rocket scientists.... would a heat source at the distal end of the fuel and oxidizer to raise the temperature extremely high before they enter combustion chamber provide higher efficiency? How high can the temperature of the oxider and fuel be raised prior to mixing in the combustion chamber? Is there a limit either in absolute terms or is it a question of diminishing returns?
The density of the oxidizer and fuel would change, if it were to warm up - producing LESS Thrust...! That's why they have to "Super-Cool" everything before "Kickin' the Tires 'N Lightin' the Fires"! Lol (Think along the same lines as a Pre-Cooler or After Cooler on race cars - the Colder they can get the air, the more horsepower!).
lol, these ppl who are dawging AI. 99.999% of them don't know how to write in cursive, can drive a manual transmission, know how to write a check, address a letter, write a proper email, or even fry a freaking egg without burning it. Yet they want to talk smack about a tool that can out perform them at every turn in things they are "suppose" to be good at in this digital age. Cracking me up
One always knows when basically nothing new is going on. Here is the clue. Musk is quoted like something new is going on, but the real indication of something significant is when Gwynne Shotwell is quoted. That is an indication of real progress and not just some almost meaningless filler.
Wonder if SpaceX would consider inventing a reusable rocket booster for the rocket that resembles the solid rocket boosters of the Space Shuttle rocket but would actually be Falcon 9s. ? Seems to work for the Super Heavy rocket array.
That's an interesting idea! SpaceX is always pushing the boundaries of innovation, so who knows what they might come up with next in the realm of reusable technology?
easy believable , with the pace of space x and its iterations , no doubts there is already plans for a raptor 4 , but only on paper , wont do anything real world until they get data on raptor 3 , after all , improvment is the goal
Good Morning my Friend. I've been waiting for you to give US a report on a Rapture 4. or Rapture 3.X. I knew it was coming. Great. We know it will follow Elon's rule. "The best parts. Is no parts." The best thing about Elon Musk brian is that he knows no limits. That man's brain power has no end. When does he sleep? I've always look rocket engines. Dive deeper into engine placement. If I may ask! Thank You very Much my Friend. Have a Great Day! Great Report. Great Update.
I watch your videos because sometimes there's a tidbit of useful information. However, the AI generated narration is a bit monotone and slow. I gave this video a thumbs down and closed out early because before your video was even halfway through your text to speech generator repeated itself multiple times making it just so obvious that there was such little effort to put into writing and proofing this video before you published it.
Thanks for cmt. "your text to speech generator repeated itself multiple times", does it mean we repeat the content (information) multiple times in a video? Or anything? Could u please give me in more details to better it? Thanks a lot.
elon musk : breathes
this dude : NASA SHOCKED

this is 100% clickbait
Omg raptor 4 even though 3 isnt in use for starship yet

Imagine….New space engine a genius vision ❤️🔥will be engineering magic. 😉
Exactly

We should just go right to three sea level engines, Raptors and three nuclear engines for space that should be a serious consideration
Yeah, nuclear engine will be the next level, but there are still many problems with it

Why go in increments? MAKE A RAPTOR 10! 🤔
RAPTOR X? 🚀👩🏼🚀😬
Because they can only improve by data coming from prevoius test and failure
Small steps are always safer and more effective.
This is the worst video you have ever made
Have a nice day ❤️
We will improve it
Big invest this technology advancement please sir please
definitely!
Or you could even put six Raptors and three nuclear
👍👍👍👍
Raptor 4.0?? Really? Raptor 3 hasn't flown yet. So far any speculation about a Raptor 4 is just bullshit! Down voted!
Let's wait and see

Thank you so much for your kind words, and I am working on a video diving deeper into that topic!
@@techmap9 Thanks Buddy.

Agreed I'm out as well
@@techmap9 Why don't you watch the video and find out? The narration issues are obvious!
AI crap
AI sucks
