Good idea for a series! Last time I looked there were only 3 different planes, seem to be a fair few now which is good. Hope they add balloons at some point, if they havent already...

Is it really that expensive that you can't afford it?
It costs $60 and because I live in the UK that's an extra $15 for the currency conversion rate so overall it would cost me $75 or £57 which is still a lot of money for someone who has got no job and is at college all day as a student

Basically just a second version of Rise of Flight? It looks exactly the same and I think made by some of the same developers.
It's an updated version. Using the IL-2 great battles technology and servers.

It's in early access so you must go on Il2's website. Same thing if you want battle of bodenplatte or tank crew.

I downloaded this game on steam for free and it won't even open I'm stuck in a login screen
Just John you have to make an il2 account to play the game/simulator and might have to by an aircraft or two to use it. It’s not free to play like DCS World is initially.

If you meant tanks yes there is. There is a module in early access called tank crew. It has inside and outside models of the KV-1S, Panzer IV "Tiger", M4A2, and the panzer III M. They will eventually add the Ferdinand, SU-152 and 122 if I got those numbers right, the Panzer V "Panther" and as well fix the current tanks to put them up to that standard. All will have functional crew members and 4 stations you can play in. They have also released the map for it which has buildings that you can destroy. They also have some campaigns planned as well. All of this is currently $70.

"Version one" a bit like episode one on a TV program
I believe this is the first sort of "pack" of ww1 planes. I believe they aim to put out more packs of planes kind of like a TV series like the other person said.
