Another beautifully shot and inspirational video that really captures the spirit of fishing we all share. Also, lots of coffee drinking and the fish go back unharmed. Perfect. Thank you.
A dream of a fishing day. The solitude of the landscape, the red coloured fish fighting hard and working into the backing líne...what a beautiful video...a pleasant relaxing music and the soft light of a cloudy windless day... a very quiet zen experience... a nice cup of freshly made coffee drunk by the fire on a fishing talk with a friend..the beautiful flowers...that moose running uphill...a dream, definitely, for us Nature lovers.
What a great bit of fishing and friendship, i am from Scotland and currently work in Saudi Arabia, how i do miss my fly fishing, this video brought a smile to my face.
Beautiful, the footage, photos, the country and the friendship that you two share. Thanks for taking the time to share this with us. Blessings to you both.
This is my favourite youtube channel. No free cool insta lumberjack gansta hippsters but real guys from real life. Peaceful and nice videos with good fish, relaxing and joy of fishing . Thanks.
Good evening Men of Men!! What a Stunning Performance from Both Anglers! Such beautiful fish, and two experienced Anglers!! You both deserved The Whisky. Next time, put some of the Whisky in your lovely coffee. Especially first thing at dawn. Hearty Congratulations too you both. Many thanks and Kind regards Colyn.
I love the pace of your films, it reflects the emotions of our sport so perfectly. The colours and beauty of those char is utterly incredible and to see the backing peel off the reel for so long is something I wouldn't have expected. Another gem of a film, so thanks for all the hours of editing and hard work!
Fantastiskt stort tack för denna underbara film!! Har varit ifrån flugfisket ett tag nu tyvärr men era fantastiska filmer får verkligen glöden att börja brinna!!!
Habe seen a lot nice fish in Last 50 years, But no one could beat the beautyness of these Arctic Char you have showed us in your Video! Thank you for sharing with us. Tight-Lines from Switzerland
That’s one buggy looking pupa fly is that rubber leg being used as a sighter if so thats pretty dam clever This is why I fly fish the way you turn into a kid again when that line comes tight and the reel starts to sing you just can’t help but smile and yell out with excitement it never gets old great work guys
Trés belle vidéo ! Magnifique ! formidable ! Que de poissons magnifiques ,avec des couleurs que l'on ne peu pas oublier tant elles sont belles !! Merci pour ce beau moment qui ma fait réver !!!!
@18:29 I haven’t the slightest clue what words you were using right here, but I know “exactly” what you were saying. If that makes any sense. Really outstanding video, and thank you for sharing it with us all!
I am so addicted to sweden, especially lapland and those chars are beautiful! Can you give me a rough hint in which areas i have to go to find lakes like these? Would very much appreciate it.
Most of these waters are very hard to reach by foot. I would recommend contacting some of the helicopter services in northern Sweden (there are a few, easily found by a quick search) and ask them for a recommendation. They know all the waters and can take you to places like this. Cheers
Beautiful. Loved it. I presume this was Iceland? Expert fishing and particularly nice casting. Professional filming and editing. Captured the fun and comradeship of fishing so well.
Hi Guys What a amazing movie! We Go up there this Summer.. Can’t wait to cast for Chars 😉 Stay Healthy in this Strange times. Best Regards from Switzerland
hello guys really good video, good lake and the best fish..exceptional fighter. I have the opportunity to hunt arctic char in Montenegro, in the Biogradska gora national park, but not for such pieces. do you fish exclusively with flies or do you use other baits as well. I mostly hunt for spoons???
Beautiful video. As a fly fisherman myself I have a philosophical question with no snark or sarcasm. How far away from the fisherman can someone else net the fish and still consider it landed by the fisherman who hooked it? I see this in Alaska, Montana, Labrador, etc and I cant help but wonder. No hate or anything (to each his own) but, I mean, can you cast from shore, hook the fish, and send someone out in a boat to net it? Or have someone 50 yards down stream wade out and scoop it up? I know they are really big fish and netting them as quickly as possible ensures their continued health but where is the line?
I think nobody gives a shit since fishermen around here works as a team and hence the landed fish is a product of teamwork, but ofcourse the fish "belongs" to the one who hooked them.
Hi Tony. For me, the film maker (and fly fisherman), it doesn't matter at all. The landing guy could be 100 meters away. In my book it's all about the presentation of the fly, the take from the fish and the hooking. That's what requires skill. The rest is just a transport to shore. Cheers
@@CarpeDiemFlyfishing Hey, thanks for answering! Seems unsporting to me, I guess. If it gets away during the fight is that a catch since the presentation, take and hooking counts but the landing doesn't? Anyway, thanks and good luck!
@@Juuhjooh Interesting seeing it as teamwork. I can understand someone helping someone out but I wonder how far that goes. Seems unsporting to net a fish with 60 yards of line still out. Well, to each his own, I guess.
Do you mean the one at 15:30? I think that's a quite regular Muddler or a Muddler Minnow. It's meant to go under the surface but we are using them to mimic big caddis swimming on the surface laying eggs. Works great :) Cheers
