    Good Job....FYI everyone...The almond leaves in water create "Soft Water" for those species who require that specific condition. Coral chips HARDNERN water for those who require that. (examples guppies and gold fish to name a few)

    Bro I baught an arowana of 4 inches within 12 hours it died. It was a silver arowana. I baught it from another locality, It priced 1500 Indian rupees. What are your suggestions.

    • @SGBeardedAquarist
      @SGBeardedAquarist  5 років тому

      There couldve been many reasons. Poor acclimation, water parameters (especially ammonia), oxygen, over stressed during transport. Have you considered them?

    • @GovindaGopala333
      @GovindaGopala333 5 років тому

      It was just 4 inches, my tank had water for 4 days, its well water, it had enough flow, and oxygen, I had put power filter for my 4 feet long 2 feet wide and 1 feet 10 inches height aquarium. When I put it in aquarium it was opening his mouth and acting it was hungry but I offered it pellets, shrimps small worms insects etc but it didn't eat anything. I feel so sad, I had kept monster fishes in my artificial pond in past but I never had faced this worst issue. It was just 4 inches that I couldn't let it to go with monster fishes in my pond. My tank was cycled.

      @@SGBeardedAquarist When I put ot first to my aquarium it was rubbing and staying near glass.

    • @SGBeardedAquarist
      @SGBeardedAquarist  5 років тому

      Its really hard to guess the reason without actually testing the water. May I ask how you cycled your tank? What was your source of ammonia? Also, 4 days isn't actually enough time to fully cycle a tank.

    • @SGBeardedAquarist
      @SGBeardedAquarist  6 років тому

      I think they were raised at farms until this stage. There are even bigger and fatter ones in another store thats just 20m away!!
