The Almighty Onion I'm not faulting izanami. I take issue with the bloody still shot of her. Any action scene more dynamic would have made this the literal best intro of the lot.
It's perfect, because she is the be all, end all badass bitch to keep watch for, so to me it was fitting to the point where even if you don't play Blazblue, you know she's the antagonist.
@@jorge4572 They are antagonist just not THE antagonist. Izanami was the root of the NOLs corruption, and many other things. Terumi and Hazama only played vital roles, but weren't endgame status.
Hyde Kido wasn’t alter memory supposed to just be based around the game Calamity Trigger?? I thought it was alright. Not the worst I’ve ever seen. Definitely needed more episodes and or seasons for the other games
You should look at the original Continuum Shift's opening then. I love all the BlazBlue openings, and the first Continuum Shift's is actually my second favorite to this, but the only movement in it is from cutscenes basically
It's tragic that, for as gorgeous as each frame of this OP is and as great as the song is, its basic concepts and storyboards are so strange and out of touch with the essence of blazblue

The opening scene itself for cs1 was pure shit I agree. However, I did enjoy the song from cs1 whereas the animation in this op and the song is lacklustre(just my opinion though).
