You could strip piece a 15.5” neutral strip to a 15.5” colored strip then subcut 6 segments, and, finally, add the 4.5” patch to the units. Faster, just as accurate.
Im so sorry about your foot. I ended out in th ER 12/27. They ran a ton of tests and kept me overnight. My dianosis was fluid overload, hypoxia, COPD, and Afib. They put me on oxygen because my levels kept dropping. The bad thing is I don't have any insurance. I can't wait to start on mine tomorrow!
@@roseannecarratkinson4271 Oh no! As I age, I realize how my own body betrays me. 🚧 Well wishes for your health❤️ The hobby is really helping me from being bonkers with boredom, cheers for healing!🥂
I love this. I’ve been looking for a quilt pattern for my Sherbet Pips jelly roll that I’ve had forever. This pattern will be perfect. Thanks for sharing.
Such a pretty quilt! Since a jelly roll usually has two of each fabric I think I would make a neutral/colour strip set and cut that into 2.5" lengths in order to avoid working with small squares. Take it easy on your foot - I've been there!
Beautiful fabrics and my favorite….scrap quilt ! As soon as I am done with my current one, I will do the broken foot quilt. Hoping you heal ASAP so you can resume your creative talent as you would like to. Looks like each finished block is 4 inches, just precious !
Omgosh, you are awesome. I wanted to make new placemats and table runner for my kitchen. I have a BUNCH of scraps that I have been saving for this projects. Love this idea. Been there done that with the left foot and knee scooter. Had bone spurs removed. Take care and try not to stress, it makes any pain worse. Love ya.

I broke two toes and really did damage to most of my left foot in early July 2024. I am still healing but doing so much better lately. I was in a boot until Thanksgiving.
