Hello Dauminique,Hey, you don't have Telegram. Do you because I just reported someone pretending to be you if you don't have Telegram & have a Merry Christmas
Working outside in the Panda Express jet stream would not be fun. Very nice to have a shop to work in!
Great video! To me it is amazing how Bobby just starts taking the engine apart like it’s no big deal.
When you do it every day, it is no big deal.
Really enjoyed this video, Bobby knows what he’s doing 😊
Great Video. Bobby is a awesome mechanic. Nice garage. Hope the head gasket is the only problem. Take Care & Be Safe.
There are a few companies the sell the upper radiator hose the goes BEHIND the serpentine belt...kind of a dumb design by Ford to send the hose through the belt thus requiring you to remove the upper hose for belt replacement
You just need to get a rad hose for an 'ambulance' package super duty. I think the dual alternator super duties have the behind belt hose too. 22433 is the number for the belt, you'll have to cross reference it - I'm not exactly sure of manufacturer, but that is the number on a hose that goes behind belt. Idk why Ford decided to do it this way either. 🤔🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️👍🏻👌🛠️🔩🔧
I really like you and Bobby. Yall show very good videos and seem to be a happy couple. Thats getting hard to find these days. Love watching diesel mechanic videos. Thanks for sharing with us.
Great job with the camera, Bobby!
😂the best help you can give is head in the shop.😊 best dsl on UA-cam. 😮
So close to 100K !!!
So close!
Those are some really cool looking shirts, Dauminique!!!
You know you've been a friend of this channel a long time when you recognize the Beyond Dirt episode playing on the shops screen in background...
Bobby, she already knew about our surprise motor.. can't get much past your beautiful truck driver wife and business partner 😂
I seen the shirt I had to buy one ! Plus just seen you and the Boston trucker video this morning and I live north of him in Maine . So perfect video
Thoroughly enjoyed this video. Enjoyable to watch a pro at work. Thanks for taking us along on this mechanical journey.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice office
Glad those issues have been addressed to a 7.3 Powerstroke diesel service truck
THE 7.3 POWERSMOKE
Like all your videos, but a video with Bobby talking and wrenching is a great video. Like how he surprised you with the engine 🤣
Haha yeah it’s great
I had a 7.3 in a 96 f 250 with just over 500k on it when the injectors gave up ,those engines almost bullet proof the old f250 body gave me more trouble than the engine and great video keep up the good work God bless from GA and stay safe
It’s all good Dominique. I just love watching guys wretch. I did it for 60 plus years! All kinds of stuff. My wife used to watch like you do and I’d say THANKS BABE!
Poor Bobby got busted. Glad he already had a motor.
Love the shop
You are a good wife,my wife likes to come in my garage when I am tinkering on something just to keep me company or to mess with me(constructive critique),I wouldn’t want it otherwise!!Keep up the good work, good content,Happy Holidays!!
Santa needs to bring Bobby a Top Side Creeper. There Awesome
For working over the Grill and radiator.
Nice Job.

He said he doesn’t like them
Ha, he will when he gets older! Trust me@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver
I’ve owned two and gave them both away👎🏼
Just seen the video with you and Boston trucker and the way you were so quick with "you're the one with skinny jeans and an umbrella" to his boss was hilarious 🤘🏻
Haha Bobby told me I was mean. 😂😂😂
Cummings a great idea.👌
I'm glad I ordered my cartoon Truck t-shirt before you ran out. 😢
Now I can officially represent you guys.❤
Keep them coming.
We're here for ya.
Bobbie: You are an outstanding mechanic
👍🏽🤚🏽👌🏽😊😎💖❤🙋🏽♂️🙋🏽♂️.
I have to say good thing you had someone that knows what he's doing ✌🏽
My wrecker f550 had that problem in warranty and the Ford dealership in Vancouver BC had to lift the cab off to change the head gaskets
Beautiful sweatshirt. Love it
Frohe Weihnachten to all, from Bastrop, Tx.
Frohe Weihnachten to you and Bobby from Bastrop, Texas.
Hello Dauminique, Great video asome content. Keep them coming. What year is the service truck?
I had a similar problem on a tractor engine once where the engine wasn’t cooling properly. after removing head and gasket it was very hard to see where gasket was leaking.
Instead of regular glass what about plexiglass thank you for all the amazing videos
Bobby is a very talented guy, ya might wanna keep him around. Any chance Bobby might work on my airplanes? Cheers. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hello From Tennessee ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hello, first-time subscribers to your channel and love your video's!! My father drove dump trucks for 17 years in Southern California. I loved as a kid to go with him on some runs in the Dumper!! I'm now living in the Phoenix metro area! Just a quick question. If you changed the head gasket on the one side, would it have been a best practice to change the other one as well? Thanks for the video and have a great weekend!! Happy Holidays!!
No, not necessary. It's very rare on this 7.3 to blow a head gasket.... Like really rare. If it was a 6.0, yeah do both, and check heads for cracks too - they're known to crack & blow gaskets(usually caused by clogged oil cooler & EGR). These 7.3 engines are over built from the beginning & they'll last to 500k no problem -just w\ basic maintenance &oil changes(probably need injectors at or before 250k). I've had 3 of these trucks w\ 0 problems on the motor. A couple starters, alternator, water pumps, & a sensor or 2 -IPS/CPS is all I've done besides ball joints, tie rods brakes & other normal wear items. These trucks are very well built, especially w\ 7.3 & zf6!
Dauminique you may want to be careful helping Bobby. He’s going to have replacing engines, transmissions, and wearing axle grease as women’s war paint. LOL. Merry Christmas to you all. Did you get a picture of Rem with Santa?
Do you know where he got the headlamp ?
Bobby would of never been able to do this job without a great assistance helping him out😊😊😊😊😊 Shes lonely
Tottaly off subject but do yall have any flooding your area? Granite falls, arlington and some parts of mt. Vernon is flooding. I use to live on whidbey island, wa.
Good ole international 7.3 engine. And the 6.0 ended the Ford, international relationship. I worked for Ford for 28 years. The first diesel I remember was the 6.9 non-Turbo, very dependable but was a dog on power. Yep you found your problem. I never used Ford gaskets, I always used Fel-Pro. Some people don't like them but I always had good luck with them.
6.4 really ended the relationship
hello dauminique & it's is randy i like yours video is cool thanks dauminique friends randy
You need a four wheeler or side by side to drive around your property to go from the house to the shop especially when it’s raining
I'd frigging luuuuuuv ta have a 97' F350 with a 7.3 power stroke!❤
Good evening y'all
Would you consider sled pulling your new f350
Transplant a 5.9 12 valve in it properly tuned they will do over 500 hp
So you are building a Fummings....!!!😮😮😮 Oh my...!!!😂😂😂
From watching all your videos it obvious Bobby is a very good diesel mechanic. I wonder where he got his training?

You can tell he really loves his wife, not only does he go above and beyond in fixing stuff, but he has his wifes youtube videos playing in the background.
I noticed that too!
Yep, time to upgrade to the service truck with the kitty. You should still get good money for the current truck when you sell it.
Let know what cause this figure l love 7.3 powerstroke I've work them and they never let me down
How does not need your Help. I'm at a keyboard AND I NEED YOUR HELP... LOL
No doubt speak up to her!
I run Ford econoline vans all the time expediting and absolutely love working on them. The removable interior engine doghouse makes everything a breeze! The only thing that sucks on these is the exhaust manifold and stud work. And I run nothing but the 5.4 2 valve engines. And this is coming from a fat guy...lol..
On the 6.0 powerstroke it's easy to figure out when u have a head gasket when u have crap were the cab is on the degas bottle and white smoke but the 7.3 is way different then the 6.0 powerstroke I've been so lucky with mine with now 224,400 miles and still kicking since now since it's cold now here in Colorado I plug it in now all night the 6.0 is a very good engine when it's well taken care of but they do not like being idled for a long time or they will wet stack so the high idle mod is helpful in the 6.0 Cuse the high rpm keeps everything lubricated and keeps the engine warm and not have soot build up while in high idle since it's burning it all off
Just 1 question! If the 6.0 is so good why did Ford withdraw from Navistar on the building of these? Oh and Ford lost there ass on the warranty work too..
@@Paul070 they withdrew because navistar kicked out the 6.0 way to early and they knew the engine had some flaws in it but they had to compete with the 6.6l duramax and the problem was they got sued because they were blowing head gaskets left and right from mid 03 to 04 but when 05 came out they realized what was going on and then improved the head gaskets on the 05s up to 07 and tuning on the 6.0 was the problem since it allowed the the factory head bolts to stretch to the point of head gaskets going then a truck that's not tuned so they didn't realize that tuners that gave out to much timing was that's why that was the problem but a regular stock truck without it being tuned is able to last longer then the others that were tuned but some can die not being tuned or tuned just how u take care of the truck and not abuse it and do preventive maintenance oil changes every 5000 miles
I sure hope Bobby knows where to hookup all that stuff he took loose. LOL
Are you going to get any polo shirts
Does Bobby work for himself? I had always assumed (and now I’m wondering why I assumed this) that it was a take-home rig from whatever company he worked for. Now that he’s wrenching on it at home I’m guessing it’s his personal truck?
👍👍👍👍👍
So it looks like you guys didn't get the service truck at the auction?
It sold for $63k
Gotta get Bobby his own mic to wear ❤
We just got new ones. I'm going to put it on him more.
you guys sure love your fords seems to me they give some grief.you ever going to clean up your office.just kidding you guys work extremely hard.almost there 3K shy.
What is the very first thing you do when you bring a new used vehicle home? You pressure wash the engine bay.
I also do this before a road trip.
Can't blame the man for wanting the cummins over the 7.3. The swap would be well worth it.
Bobby's busted,Lol 😅😂🤣,but atleast he did let you know in a way & glad that it was just the head gasket also, but I think that Bobby's going to go ahead & switch engines because he said that the one in the truck is slow & not doesn't have much horsepower
Ya, real fun working in a dog house!
Great fun, reading all the armchair mechanics trying to tell a real mechanic how to do his job!!
Are you sure it wasn't a leaking injector cup
12 valve swap it all!
I once had a truck sitting in my shop for 2 months before my wife caught on I'd dragged home another project 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Why didn't you build the garage closer to the house
Weird question.
We didn’t build it.
😎
Do you get any 5x shirts in

Cracked block, cracked head or bad head gasket. And head gasket is the least costly to fix. Buy a lotto ticket.
Bloody gaskets
GET 13 LITTER CUMMIN AND PUT in it those fords do it every 60,000 mile with 7-3 I hated work on them
That gurgling noise sounds a little like a toilet. Lol
5.9 started being put in dodge was I believe was 1987
1989
Does anyone else notice what is playing on the big screen in the background ?? LOL
If you just want to spend some quality time with your husband just say you want to spend time with him lol, it’s ok, my wife does the same thing. We kinda enjoy it. 😂👍
@@Click-To-Reach-Out__127 howdy
The 12 valve swap will make the truck better the 7.3 is a turd they make more noise than power. Ford has discontinued making a lot of Ford specific parts in the long run it’s just going to get more expensive to keep a 7.3 running. I’ve owned 3 6.0 trucks the 6.0 is a ok engine if you keep up the maintenance. I’ve gotten rid of my diesel pickups and went back to gas. Cheaper to maintain the fuel economy loss is still cheaper than the cost to maintenance on a diesel pickup.
7.3 with a blown head gasket not a surprise at all
They are not known for them...
the 7.3 is the best one out of the group for sure the later models are not near as good as that one @@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver
Those practically never have that. 6.0’s it was the big problem.
Not known to blow head gaskets at all
Do the swap you won’t regret it Cummins is a real diesel engine and reliable
Why waste the time fixing it if your going to do a swap
Buy a motor? Say, I apologize. Better to ask forgiveness than permission when trying to make a truck run. Continue on with yourselves!

Are you gonna kill him for buying the Cummins motor?
No, why would I? It’s not a big deal.
@@DauminiqueTheDumpTruckDriver I didn't think you would, I just had to say it.
@@kellywhite1663 haha he knew I wouldn’t care.
Pull the bed and run a 5500 ram under it those ford's are nothing but failures and every Navistar engine should have been bought back.
