Why is everyone so obsessed with the Doctor and Rose? She wasn't a good companion and the Doctor is way too complicated for love. Trying to portray the doctor as a loving person is a big detriment to the character.

Christopher Eccleston said in interview that Doc and Rose had love at first sight. And they obviously had. But they never showed it directly, and the doctor never said he loved her - and that was because he couldn't afford have relationship with her and yeah, he is too complicated for love. But that never meant he couldn't love. Rose Tyler is one of the best and most important companions :)))
