All generations of toyota hybrids, in fact. But Toyota's power split device uses a planetary sun gearbox, like a Ford Model T. This 2-speed/4-speed from Renault is quite interesting by still being able to keep traditional gears. The gear box itself can connect the power in series or parallel.
How this is very pleasant to see because what Renault/Nissan has managed to achieve that none of the Germans like Mercedes could was achieving a parallel-series hybrid like the Toyota Prius but with traditional gear sets. And this sort of hybrid (with two high voltage motors) would be more efficient and flexible than the many recent single motor hybrids.
Very informative video.
Huge thanks!
Thanks for comment!
Functionally I find no differences with the 4th hybrid version of Toyota

Where can I get this animation video of the gearbox?
