Hey Anthony Allen just wondering how afterpay work like if we purchase something then is it paid for, and we put our bank card number so they can deduct the money for 6 weeks. Example if we want Xbox laptop etc would the $600 be paid for and we pay them back over 6 weeks when we use AfterPay?
Could you do a video of how to use it with ebay ? I've tried 3 times and it's not working (USA) the option is there the store is there it takes me to the breakdown but when I checkout it charges the whole thing
Is it almost like a credit card? No interest rate or hidden fees right? They give you an amount to spend but have to make payments depending on your installments?
When I use after pay do they take the money right away from my account or when I set up the installation payment because I have only 1 dollars in my account 😭

Hi, if you shipped after afterpay notified you it can take a few days for the first payment to process should be 2 -5 days this is so they can confirm delivery etc but do check your email for more notifications they may have updated contact preferences for retailers

So does that mean with my limit I have 521.53 so if I go to the store use my virtual card will the initial payment be taken out from that limit & then the other 3 payments from my linked debit card ?
basically yes, here in the UK its known as clearpay its the same company same set up. This first part payment is you but the entire thing is paid via your limit balance you then make repayments to afterpay (clearpay) that's how it works yes :)

In the app, at the bottom click on card and it’ll show you the specific stores near you that accept afterpay, not all stores accept it even if it’s the same store

How do I cancel my Afterpay payment
I have approve spending limit. Am I paying it back or my spending limit paying for my purchase? I’m a little confused how the approve spending limit goes.
So to explain, you make a first small token payment towards your product but the product has been paid for by afterpay in full and your product is on the way to you. A limit can be applied so that you can’t do this for a product that cost $10,000 the limit it’s to help you as you pay back for the product over time

After you buy a product with afterpay, do you get shipped the product you buy (as if you payed full) or do you have to wait for the product to deliver after the full amount later?

No, compare retail prices to what you see through the app. I did and it’s equally the same $
If the seller isn't raising prices by 6%, I would imagine there profit margin is very good to be able to absorb that. Not sure all retailers are the same

Thanks for the video! I have never used Afterpay but I want to try to use it and I signed it up. I have a few questions about Afterpay process. After I sign up on my desktop not on mobile yet, it shows Est. available to spend. I got $600. What is this amount? Do I need to pay for this if I want to use Afterpay? I didn't add my debit info yet. For example, if I buy $130 for a jacket, I just can pay 4-time pay installments of $32.50 at the first payment? Is it safe to use?
The 600 is your current limit. So you can’t buy a let’s say a car that cost £700 with your afterpay but you can £600 the payment is split as usual with you making the first part payment. With each part payment made this adds back into your limit

@@SH-cp6ug it subtracts the amount of the item from the 600, but as you pay the item off, the afterpay balance will return to 600 (ie. indicating you have no money owed anymore)

When will these BNPL companies wake up to the huge marketing and business ops, by letting us buy across borders, I live in NZ and my kids live in Aussie, and even though I have an excellent credit rating etc, used their services many times, I even offered 3 of them the full purchase amount as a bond, but it all seems to hard for them. I don't know the answers or problems. But I know from business, every challenge is solvable. Just imagine the explosion in sales when one BNPL company, solves whatever the challenges there are and we have a true International BNPL Option, let me know. Every time I want to buy my adult children a new expensive gift, I have to send them the cash and let them go thru their own BNPL, because I cant buy in NZ and export it due to the taxes and duty etc, and why would you use yr credit card with the huge interest rates they charge us. Anyway that's my whinge for today, I really hope some dreamer solves the challenges and builds a better mouse trap. Have a great day. cheers Kev

The product is yours on the first part payment you receive your product because after paid it in full on your behalf you then make part payments towards Afterpay until you’ve paid for the product

If the store offers online shopping from after pays list of stores then just go to your cart after selecting an item and use the after pay option. Remember you usually have to pay 25% of the total upfront and more if you go over your approved amount
