We just gonna gloss over the fact that they met the queen? Indicating there are marble governments? I want to see the political landscape of the marble world
The queen is really just a figurehead. A distraction that's trotted out now and then to rekindle nationalist sentiment. Funny thing is, the royal family capitulated to the Rubicon generations ago. Oceand's government is a 'democratically' elected parliament where several political parties jockey for cushy council seats, just to rest inert and do nothing as their society is slowly ground into powder by the Spheropean Union.
Look guys we have a conspiracy theorist here. Our royalty does a lot of good and I'm really getting sick of people tarnishing their name cos they can't hack it. Roll on with your life brother. Everything's fine. April will be a blessed month! Roll out!!'
You can have kings and queens without technically being rulers, as long as there is voluntary allegiance. That's how it worked in ancient Ireland, which didn't have a formal government, because the various leaders didn't have coercive powers or a monopoly on arbitration. In such a case, a king or queen is simply the owner of a large territory that many people lease and use.

We should start a petition to have Netflix hire you to do this with a bigger budget. The binge-factor of your channel is incredible, I'm sure someone big would be interested if we make enough noise! The question is whether you would want that or would prefer to stick to UA-cam.
It is a real thing! There's a crazy amount of fans that gather every year. We pick our favorite teams and cheer them on while watching and in the comments. There's merch and clubs for the teams as well. It's amazing and amazingly rewatchable.
Midnight Wisps are the perpetual underdogs of this competition. They made a tremendous effort to finish in fourth place in the 2017 Marlbelympics which WOULD have guaranteed them a spot in the 2018 Marblelympics until the IMC (International Marblelympics Committee) decided to implement the "host team rule" where the hosting team automatically qualifies in the "fourth qualifier" spot. This meant that the Wisps were knocked out of a guaranteed qualification. BUT, rather than let that get into their psyche, it only bolstered their resolve, and they fought their way through the qualifying rounds, and pulled off an absolute miracle finish by taking first overall AND denying the Savage Speeders the chance at topping the podium again. Now, we see this friendly round, where the wisps once again prove that, more than anything, they are consistent. They might not be flashy, but they went 2nd in 3/4 events and 3rd in one. I'm a little miffed that the NO-rangers were the least consistent team but the scoring awarded them with a finish over the Wisps. Regardless, You should never EVER sleep on the Wisps. They might not have the most dazzling of finishes, but they are always in the hunt, and as we saw last year, they have the clutch talent to pull out a major win while everyone else is focused elsewhere. Never underestimate the #willofthewisps Can't wait to cheer on my team in April!!!
#keepitmellow Going to surprise a lot of people this year Midnight doesn’t got hockey to cover their weaknesses. Also mellow is a summer team, 3rd place in 2017. And since they didn’t even medal last year, they’re pissed. Don’t sleep on mellow yellow
Never forget the insane comeback that Midnight Wisps made in 2018. Nothing against the Savage Speeders, but that denying of a first place repeat was one of the highlights of last year.
Technically they wouldn't have been had any team other than the Oceanics been hosting. It's usually the top 3 teams of the previous year plus the host are automatically qualified. The O'rangers came in fourth in 2018 while the Oceanincs came in 3rd. So had some other team been hosting, say Team Momo for instance, the host spot that the Oceanics took would have been occupied by Team Momo, but the O'rangers auto-qualifing spot would have been given to the Oceanics for their 3rd place finish and the O'rangers would have had to compete to qualify. But they got lucky since someone in the top 3 of the previous year was picked to host giving the spot to the 4th place team.
@@nicoledegennaro2993 I wonder how they decide who's going to be the next host. As a Eurovision fan, I would just give the hosting to the previous year winner by default, with maybe the whole Top 5 auto-qualifying and the rest going through the qualifier rounds.
The O'Rangers are amazing in strength and teamwork events. All those years wrangling oranges on their ranch really paid off for them in professional marble sports.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO'Rangers! I'm a little disapointed with the second place. I mean, look at the relay race: they start with a great lead and then finish fourth! Waiting for April!
The first race showed that the Savage Speeders are so faithful to their name that they can become too fast, whereas the O'Rangers can't seem to concentrate enough, so they either overdo things or aren't good enough. Oceanics beating the qualifying record is a perfect way of saying "we have trained hard for this event, don't mess with us" Block pushing saw that they all are at the same strenght. The relay saw the Speeders doing well, but the Oceanics' training might have improved. The last event, well, makes sense to field in a reserve, as usually Oceanics surprisingly do bad in water-themed events. However, Bay showed that he isn't a "main roster" player yet, but he could be in those months.
The Oceanics have always been great in the funnel races so there was no real surprise there. Block pushing was always going to go the way of the O'Rangers, but the Wisps definitely made themselves known there. Really surprised to see the Speeders stumble in the relay, but the Oceanics have clearly been putting in the time to improve their handoffs. The water race was also pretty much predetermined. The Oceanics just enjoy the water too much to pay attention to the race at hand. Bay is a promising up and comer, but we'll have to see how Aqua performs when the real races come around.
Idea for the MarbleLympics opening ceremony: Have fans say "Welcome to 2019 MarbleLympics!" in their language when all the teams have entered the stadium. It's kinda like the shout-outs you had for the teaser
I'm here thanks to John Oliver, but I've been binging the backlog. Great stuff all around. Just the building of the tracks would be an achievement, but you add thrilling video and commentary on top of it. Who needs "real" sports?
Savage Speeders we get way too hyped up when it comes to going against the O-rangers weve got to calm down and stop rushing through the early events that require a longer time stamps. Also I'm going to hope that Savage Speeders ate conserving energy and aren't pushing to hard to avoid injury in the friendly round because to be honest if this is a showcase of what's to come I'm a bit worried. Don't get me wrong Savage Speeders always place but man could they not do it by the skins of there teeth.
mm not rlly. We are the best marbleympic team since we have a 1st, 2nd, and 2nd which no other team has come close to. we just need a lot more training
I noticed in the qualifiers that the relay race - which really should've been in the Speeders' wheelhouse - seemed to have a bit of an issue in the 2nd handoff where it was possibly not long enough for them to handoff effectively if they got to it too fast. A few teams with early starts seemed to have bad back halves and with the Speeders being sprinting specialists... kinda felt like a repeat of that issue
Nah Savage speeders they got first in 2016 second 2017 and 2018 winter games second again by 1 point they are best team by far they will be top 4 again for sure
Yeah but Oceanics improved a lot. Speeders had a similar amount of skill than the past years. Not saying they're a bad team, they just didn't improve much.

Hey Orangers are proven champs who place over and over again. We only pulled 4th last year it's true, but it's also tradition to give 4 teams a pass. The top 3 and the host team. This year Oceanics was both, so they only pass 3 or they let Orangers in to make qualifiers clean. This channel is the best. The comments are so positive and pure. No negativity whatsoever.
Good to see young bay being given a change out there.
Sad for Team Momo though. Really hope there's a wild card event and Momomomo coaches his team to great heights.
This is insanely high quality
Still bummed our favorite team did not make it through the qualifying round. This is way more entertaining to vlog than any traditional sport! Thank you for the smiles!
YEEEEEEEES OCEANICS #TidePride #TidePride #TidePride
Gaming Tylker thank you for being a faithful member to the swim team!
@@lagooncoachoftheoceanics8224 No problem oceanics for life

Go Ocies!
Oceanics are overrated garbage
never ever would I think I would actually care about watching marbles race like come on, Its marbles... But somehow you make this too gosh dang interesting. From the tiny TVs that show the replays of the finishes to the marble crowd to your announcer's voice. I don't know... But I absolutely love it!
dude keep doing what you're doing man. Major thumbs up from me
Been a Savage Speeders fan for two years, so proud of my boys. #SPEEDISKEY
That moment when a marble race is legitimately more entertaining than the Super Bowl. Well done sir, well done.
Good to see the O'Rangers doing their usual "go big or go home" routine.
#OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
the oceanics have been slept on for daaayyyysssss i'm so glad they're finally getting their time in the spotlight to bring in some more fans and some more overall revenue for the squad
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
no...

Dude I love the content I can’t believe I’m so addicted to watching marbles race
Mr. Bloodhound me also
Oceanics beat savage speeders in a track event!!! Its going to be our year! TidePride
Oceanics has always been pretty good at track events, tbf.
Idk how i found this channel but I'm happy that i found this channel
I thought Team Primary fans were banned from the stadium.
The friendly races were recorded before the qualification round because I won't need to rearrange the track or refill the fish tank. The shot with the primary fans and scoreboard was taken before the relay race.
@@JellesMarbleRuns Come on don't break the 4th wall now, just say they bribed some guards or seomthing
Jelle's Marble Runs you’re breaking character, the snuck in or payed the guard
@@hero3bash hahaha its weird but he did do the effort of explaining
This is actually the best channel ever no joke I am addicted
OCEANICS 2019 MARBLELYMPICS CHAMPS!!! Mark my words!!! We will take it all home this year!!! OOOOOOOCEANICS! We Love you Blue!!!🔵🌊
Nah. Near miss. They are locked at last place. Very sad indeed at their home stadium. But I'm sure they will get up again Next year.
Try_Hard_Gaming Uhh...
this aged about as well as ground beef does in a room made of bacteria.
At least they were consistent...?
Mia The Unicorn consitent at losing 😂
Why am I so enthralled.....I watched the qualifier, a great effort from all of the teams might I add. And just after one video you got a sub my man.....holy hell this is strangely entertaining. I cant wait till April now....thanks.
*MIDNIGHT WISPS*
also team primery
This marbleympics is soo good that i was supporting O'Rangers
It would be amazing if the Marblelympics would be broadcasted “live”.
I suppose each marble is not like the other and makes this a real competition of individuals lol humanizing a bunch of marbles is very entertaining and I can imagine the personality of the teams, thanks for the silliness keep it going it's fantastic :)
Am I the only one who thinks this is soooooooo relaxing😂😂😍
Been an Oceanics fan since day 1, this video gives me lots of hope for April. Time will tell...
4:09 the last time anyone saw the Oceanics win anything for practically the rest of the tournament
You guys created a whole universe for all this. And it is awesome!
I like how I react to the events as if it were a real thing. Ohh, oh wow!
So well done man. Holy crap. How is it so watchable..
Like for Team Momo and the Limers
no limers this year. #Boycott_MarbleLympics

As an Oceanics fan I am really exited for this years Marblympics.. we are really looking in form. Our reserves need some more training but even Bay’s performance gives me hope.. #tidepride

There is something very comforting about watching this...

[Spoiler for ML2020]
Interesting to see exactly the same teams auto-qualified for 2019 competing for the title in 2020! Whether you like them or hate them, Savage Speeders, Orangers and MNW truly are the gold standard, the legends of marble sport! They inspire a whole new generation of young athletes to follow their footsteps, what a great effort for this sport!!
Who’s here after Oceanics are last in the actual marblympics?
I love this so much. It's been a long few weeks in my personal life, but I've just discovered your channel yesterday and I've already watched most of your videos. They're incredibly entertaining and keep my mind off other things. Thanks for what you do, and I can't wait until April!
Ok I j watched the video Savage Speeders 100% should drop whizzy he’s holding them back the top teams never take this seriously cmon now Speeders Nation bring home the W one more time
It's amazing to see this, when I was a young lad (1960's) I used marbles as football teams, and ran leagues.
I think we need some promotional training videos for the upcoming marblimpics
I'm so happy this channel exists
If I could bet on these I would lose all my money on Speeders.
I just found your Channel today, this is the six video I've watched throughout this afternoon. I'm not much of a sports person but this I enjoy and find quite amusing. Thanks for posting I subscribed!
I don't watch any spectator sports on TV... but this is freaking amazing! If you haven't watched the Sand Marble Rally yet you really should.. that battle got SO intense!
"Oceanics fans feeling pretty good!"
Me: (laughs in dramatic irony)
Ikr lmao! #speediskey
Im happy to be back in these marble races in YOUR channel.
UA-cam's algothm : "They'll just watch *anything* at this point."
Been a fan of O'Rangers since qualifiers of 2017, can't wait to see what they have in store for this year!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO RANGERS!!!!!!!!! MARBLELYMPIC CHAMPS 2019!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

O'Rangers indeed.
And.....this is why I subscribe! Competition is great, courses are amazingly well constructed, and best of all, presentation and commentary is top notch!
I haven't clicked so fsst in a long time
Since the 2018 Marblelympics anyway :P
Midnight Wisps might not always win all the gold medals, but damn, they are consistent, and as last year showed, that's all you need to win. I'm sending all my love towards Wispy, Wespy, Wospy, Wuspy and Waspy! I can't to see you guys dominate this year.
Team Momo didn't make it so I'll be rooting for the OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO'Rangers at this years event. Good luck yall. May the best team win.
How did I not know this was a thing?!
Loving the channel. Entertaining and exciting!
Oof, I really don’t want to wait till April for the MarbleLympics
You dont have a choice
But you can wait faster if you want😂😂
This is stressfull, relaxing and weirdly satisfying to watch all at once.
